I didn’t hate it but it felt like a carbon copy of Peter Parker “losing everything”trope
Using Ross and Valentina as a set up for what’s to come
Marvel needs to change that formula because there really wasn’t a need for them
Angel Basset
That woman can act
Namor was a good villain
Don’t know shyt about Ironheart but I’m intrigued
Now I definitely didn’t like how they used Killmonger
Yeah he had vengefulness in his heart but what black person doesn’t feel like him everyday
So to use him as the face of extremism(granted to many his practices seemed extreme on surface level)
Just wasn’t feeling it
Namor felt like an off brand Killmonger story
Like Brehito was war ready way before little momma passed
And she didn’t even tell how Shuri was trying to save her
That’s were my conflict comes in
It’s the way they painted both characters
M’Baku I can see why some people felt the way they felt about the male characters in this movie
But that scene with Shuri and him was pretty powerful
Overall I can admit that it wasn’t as bad as I perceived before it being released
I can admit fault in that
It was a good tribute film and Ryan/His Team did the best they could
