Im tryna enjoy the movie for what it was..bht yall really making me turn into that guy I was for the 1st BP film lol...listen it was a great film. Can we just say that based on MCU?

Yes Wakanda is the good ol negroes that always does the right thing. And no it will not follow the comics. Yes, lets hope by Tchalla Jr living in Haiti he studies Toussaint's history and military strategy. Yes lets hope he gets Shuri's intelligence. Thats the only way WE GET A REAL TCHALLA.

But Shuri in the comics wouldve killed Namor for killing her Mama and talking shyt. Tchalla too.

But this is Disney tho. And we cant have black folk putting villains in the dirt.

Exactly. Insaid bullshyt cause 1) Queen Shuro wouldve had his head on her Bast Altar. 2). Namor would not have yeild or begged for his life.

The U.S. could mostly likely beat any country on earth 1-on-1 with ease in an all out war. This movie isn't us vs china levels of shyt. Talokan was more than capable of wiping out Wakanda. Even when Wakanda found out that the Talokan people's weakness was sonic emissions,Wakanda was still losing in the end. Also, Wakanda leadership was some old ass tribal people (no ...because hear it...sorry)...They literally lost all their monarchy leadership in a few years, Wakanda was down to Shuri and M'Baku...they didn't want that type of smoke with Namor at that moment.

Angela Basset dying follows the story of TChalla (a man who let Zemo walk after he killed his father)

Shuri was tasked with the same humility as her brother (so she let him walk the same way her bro let Zemo)

that kinda works better in the plot of the overrarching story cause now the director shows continuity between the two films. Kinda the same reason why we saw killmonger or the ancestral plane (both nods to the first BP film)

Namor not dying in the grand scheme of thing is to also introduce mutants to this cinematic universe (which he also clearly said in his speech to Shuri at his kindgdom).

I get where you're coming from, but high key...Wakanda was getting worked. No yield and they easily lose that war.

I know the film had other commentary going on, but they could have explored how anything synthetic is far worse than taking something natural.
Before that peaceful/beautiful ending I would have hinted at Killmonger is still there in her head. That she still has thoughts of killing Namor.

The scenes rewinding was a clear nod that yes that they can do all this war shyt...

But its better if its just deaded now. Just take the L's on both sides (Wakandans and Namor) and keep it moving.
