Had a golden opportunity to have Killmonger be the new Black Panther, have Shuri be ruler and have both raise and mentor T'Challa's son. Could've easily wrote in Ramona being forced to go with him when Namor wages war.

Don't understand the logic of not going that route when MBJ is a fan favorite.

Nikkas watched Star Wars....watched Kylo Ren kill both his parents and a school fulla kids but, he's allowed to have "a redemption arc" meanwhile Killmonger who didn't do 10% of that is too evil to redeem :heh:

And Star Wars fans hated that part :mjlol: Because Rey tossing Finn in the bushes and loving up on darth vader jr made no sense but they did it anyway since they weren't going to let Finn get with her :mjpls:

Coogler though should have put M'Baku in charge because no one is taking a 5'5 110 pound woman seriously as a warrior or leader when it hasn't been established and comes out of nowhere.

And M'Baku respected T'Challa as a fellow warrior and would've had the respect of the troops.

As for Killmonger, dude tried to take over Wakanda and start a world war so just having him become a good guy would have been too much. Maybe a partial redemption arc would have been possible though. Like Loki. He assists with the defense of Wakanda but he'll never be fully good.

Had they made Okoye take up the mantle, NONE of the gripes that people have about Shuri would've even came about.

And it was once hinted in the comics, during the whole Guess Who are

Loki is another example. Breh committed intergalactic terrorism but he can be redeemed and loved. Black man can’t though :mjpls:

I do think at least for this movie having Shuri/Killmonger being two different sides on how to handle Namor would have been intriguing. And would have helped the film with star power.

I think Im going to enjoy the movie. However, knowing they didnt recast and whats in the movie.... yea might as well say T'Challa saved him/kept him confined.

Make it a Hannibal Lector type shyt where she gotta go to him for advice throughout the movie before he helps fight Namor in the 3rd act.

Because MBJ is a heterosexual black man...

This the same Disney that put a mask on Chadwick for the Chinese audience...

I dont know whats more surprising. MCU not having 1 film in the 90s on RT for an entire year or Ryan Coogler having by far the lowest rated movie of his career.
