I totally hear you, but just like Batman Beyond was dope as fukk despite Bruce Wayne NOT being Batman, they don't need T'Challa to make a good movie.
If they give the mantal to his son from an alternate dimension or Wakabi and do it well then I'm not gonna say the movie sucks just because it's not T'Challa.
T'Challa is a vehicle for characteristics to be conveyed. Other characters can embody those same traits even if they look different or have a different name.
Will it be the original king we all know and love? No, but it could still work.
And mind you, this is coming from someone who absolutely feels that T'Challa shoulda been recasted.
All I'm asking is that people don't be narrow minded and give it a chance cuz you never know. And I trust Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole. I also trust Letticia Wright, Daniel Kaluya, Lupita Nyongo, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, and Danai Guirra.

1). Thats what RECASTING is for. The actor isn’t as important as the CHARACTER.
2). She does. For a short period of time. In the comic’s 50 year history Shuri was the black panther for the equivalent of a year. And guess what? During her time as Black Panther she was NEVER the main character, T’Challa was. Her entire arc was centered around why T’Challa was actually always the one who was better able to hold the mantle and throne.

And then she dies lol. Not saying you, but its funny to me that people who make that reference dont realize that Shuri is actually the one who dies in that scenario. T'challa was just in a coma when she became BP..

There's two synopsis going around that I'm assuming from two different treatments?
The elements that both share are that RiRi creates a device that is responsible for Atlantis resurfacing, Shuri creating her own suit and T'Challa has a son, and Doom is in the credits. In the older treatment, T'Challa's son was an actual character that they are supposed to protect throughout the film
Both plotlines sound like a complete mess and clusterfukk though. This film sounds like it's going to be the worst of Phase 4.
Does anyone know if reshoots have started? MoM had to be changed completely during reshooting.
