Naw. Namor is an arrogant, a$$hole king. He wouldn't even waste his time with the soldiers, or even Shuri...as she currently is in the MCU. Same thing with Doom. They respect T'Challa, though...even if it's on site (for Namor).

T'Challa is an Icon in the comic world, Chadwick knew the role was bigger than him. He wouldn't have wanted them to just toss the character to the bushes like that.
If the actor who plays Kal 'El passes after one Superman flick, you don't just write Kent out for good.
If the actor who plays Bruce Wayne passes after one Batman flick, you dont just write Wayne out for good.
I understand them doing maybe one "Where's Tchalla?" movie without him because they think its too soon, but hes gotta come back man. They can't let him go out like that.
