Storm-1298734683-marvel-comics-39112262-600-829.jpg

And I want someone who can actually act. Someone who can do a good African accent The last two storms were meh. And people who didn't read the comics, grew up thinking Hallie Berry was Storm :scusthov:

ok it's your opinion but I don't think she's storm
storm would really serve no purpose in this story.

They may do a flash back to the past to explain the ancient ties between Wakanda and Atlantis. If so then Coel could be playing a BP from the past like Yemandi.

I just hope she's not playing Bast.

man using Namor in this sequel seems like such a waste to me

At the start, Namor was the best choice. If you're making this a summer, tentpole film then you have to go big. Hate to say it, Namor and Doom are probably BP's strongest and most interesting adversaries after Klaw and Killmonger. The problem is that they've decided not to recast T'Challa and is seemingly building this film around his "loss". So Coogler has to cover a lot of ground here with the fallout of T'Challa, the crowning of a new ruler, establishing Namor and Atlantis.etc. and he's already has gone through multiple scripts. As of right now, it's not looking too good.

Not recasting will probably be the decision both Feige and Coogler will regret.

If T'Challa is not in this, I'm not supporting it. If there are no more strong supporting black characters in Marvel as good as black panther, I'm selling my Disney stock. Sam Wilson sucks ass. He's a depowered Steve Rogers. They will lose a strong black fan base. Coogler tripping. Stephen James says hello.

I think one of the things that gives me comfort in them not recasting the role is the strong supporting cast that was in the first movie. They are strong enough and interesting enough characters that they can hold down Wakanda without featuring BP.

Plus, in the first film, they didn’t really explore and world build in Wakanda. We only got a glimpse, which is something this movie is supposed to fix. Which is why Wakanda Forever is a fitting title :wow:

The wounds are too fresh. You gotta realize, that all of them found out Boseman died with everyone else. They didn't know he was going to die. So to just pivot like that is too much to ask. I'm sure all of the actors were cool with it. They were like family :manny:

It would've been easier to just recast because Coogler wouldn't have had to write a new movie, but the fact that they did it the hard way speaks to how much they were cool with it. I'm sure if Coogler wanted to recast, he would've got his wish.

Kerry Washington was my pick for Storm, she's the right age to play along Chadwick, shes good looking and has the acting ability. Unfortunately we'll never know.

Soneque Martin-Green is another good choice
