Which consisted of a 2 minute cameo in one movie... and a 10 minute cameo in another movie..

That's not a strong case to make for waiting another 15 years (because they ain't rebooting anytime soon) before we see T'Challa again.
Recast is a risk. I don't think there is an obvious choice. If they don't measure up, then what?

After the first movie half the reviewers and innanetz were saying Chad was the most boring and least interesting part of the movie. Myself, @Dr. Narcisse and a few others were daring nyggas to say that to our face so we could fight them.

But now that Chad is dead, the same innanetz is talkin bout Chad is irreplaceable and nobody can do what he did and the character needs to be killed written-off and kept away until a reboot in 2035...

You seem genuine about the nakia/lupita angle, but understand that a lotta these ppl be bullshytting. Chad was boring. Brie was boring, hemsworth was boring before ragnorak... if they cast Denzel's son, nyggas gon say he boring. But he'll be alright. He'll measure up. Pause.

T'chaka died to advance T'Challa's story I would even argue temporarily making Shuri BP was to do the same

Black Panther has = T'challa for 98% of the characters existence. People bringing up Shuri have clearly not even read those comics

EXACTLY.

Its like some of these posters did a quick Wikipedia search and saw Shuri was once BP and said “A HAH!” Not knowing that Shuri’s time as BP was a drop in the bucket compared to T’Challa AND that her time as BP was more of a means of further character development for T’CHALLA than it was for Shuri.

Shuri was Black Panther for a VERY short time period, and even with that, T’Challa was “King Of The Dead” and retained all of his BP powers plus an upgrade.

I know people have had issues with Tanehisi Coates Black Panther run but he did the best for Shuri that could be done. He gave her her OWN identity, powers, and hero persona separate from T’Challa so that she wasn’t simply “Black Panther Lite” and could co-exist and stand alongside T’Challa equally within the Wakandan Hierarchy.

I think Most of the Negs i’ve ever given were centered on idiots throwing shade on Chadwick’s performance when he was the absolute PERFECT T’Challa and the greatest introduction to the character’s cinematic debut that could have possibly ever been cast.

nikka its a movie, Robert Downey Jr is a legit midget and they don't make him look like next to the other actors do they

you think slyvester stallone is the size of a heavyweight because he played rocky

They already made T'challa a beta male in his own movie, he didn't do shyt, but get his ass whooped, and had to cheat to get the throne back from killmonger, they ruined his character

Boseman had zero personality as T'Challa, replacing him will not be hard, I'm just being real, the nikka has zero character defining scenes, which was why killmonger stole the show, I know villains are suppose to steal the show, like Joker do Batman, but that's the way the structure of the character has always been. T'Challa not the type of character who gets outshined by his villains, the watered him down, none of the royal arrogance, none of the cold hearted merciless warrior demeanor, and more importantly none of the expressing of intellect which is a defining trait of the character, and had no problem expressing with Tony Stark and Doctor Strange, when T'Challa is suppose to be Reed Richards level intelligence.

This sounds so disrespectful reading it but I must admit that I understand what you're saying :mjcry:

Still take this neg tho, bruv :mjcry:

Hell, I'd say with conviction that the whole point of Coogler's MCU Shuri being so vastly different from the comics was because he wanted to avoid all the nonsense about making her BP.

The sad part is ppl could've been advocating for a "Shuri" spin-off movie if they were actually being strategic.

Man...... I think if they don’t drop news on who is the next TChalla in the next 2 months.....

It means they ain’t gonna cast him and they really just gonna let the ladies take over.

IMO that’s a bad move but it’s whatever..... would just have to see the final product

This shyt stupid AF to me:gucci:... black panther came out in Feb 2018, which means they were filming in 2016-2017, they could've squeezed out filming between 2018-2019 before chadwick passed:francis:

Thats not how it works breh

Kebin Feige and company plan these movies YEARS in advance. Yes BP came out in February but you have to take into account the time it takes to do press (Marvel had Chadwick and the gang promoting BP well into the summer of 2018 across different countries) write scripts (Coogler wasn’t officially announced to return until late 2018 and he’s the cowriter and director) and prep. Prep for movies like BP which is part of a 22 film (and counting) franchise is a MASSIVE undertaking, and thats not even including the post production work that Chadwick, Danai, and Winston had to do on a tiny film called Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.

All things told. It would have been virtually IMPOSSIBLE to have a Black Panther movie ready to begin filming any sooner than late this year, and even then Corona would have fukked that up
