No, it's because there haven't been as many captivating talents in college ball and it's become a slow, over coached version of a game that had made advancements in all other versions. Edey is a star in college terms, but very few big plodders capture the general fans attention because it's an ugly brand of basketball. It's not because he has no future as a star in the next level, but because most don't find that shyt entertaining.

Basically. The only similiarities with NCAA and NBA are they both use a basketball. Vastly different games

I was responding to multiple posts discussing his NBA prospects in this thread. Why is it being brought up to discredit him then?

There's as much discussion about that, as there is about his game and he's in the middle of a historic tournament run.
