This is why we don't have "stars" in men's college basketball.

Edey is a 2 time NPOY but gets dismissed because he's not in the NBA. Maybe, maybe not. But this is the NCAA Final Four.

No, it's because there haven't been as many captivating talents in college ball and it's become an slow, over coached version of a game that had made advancements in all other versions. Edey is a star in college terms, but very few big plodders capture the general fans attention because it's an ugly brand of basketball. It's not because he has no future as a star in the next level, but because most don't find that shyt entertaining.
