Codeine feels like Doncic is not just the best player of him and Trae but that he has the best future.

I did not agree with the line in regards to potential.

I mention prototype for both players and how Trae is a lot more likely to reach his prototype than Doncic and that Trae is the one you want to build around long term and he is the one with the most bright future I.e potential.

He was curious to know why.

I broke down that Doncic doesn't have the physical tools and athletic gifts to reach superstardom for his prototype and I mentioned that his body type limits him for that reason.

I also said Trae does have the tools and athletic gifts for his prototype to do so.

He never could defend Doncic in that regard. His focus was what about Harden who I said Harden was faster and Harden was a lot quicker as a prospect. Harden had to develop the skill that Doncic, a 4th year pro already has.

Its that simple. A lot of emotions from both sides but at the end, just banter.

Either way, both parties got what they wanted

In Trae Young's last 5 games, he is averaging 16 pts, 8 asts, and 4 rebs on 46.4% fg, 50% 3pt, 75% ft on only 29 minutes a game.

Per 36 it would be a very solid 20/10/5. Not bad for a rookie point guard.

Dude has been great lately, the two biggest changes I've noticed is that that he's completely taken the long three point bombs out of his game unless he's REALLY feeling it(see that cold blooded 3 he hit in overtime last night), and that he has been becoming more and more comfortable with John Collins on the floor, taking advantage of the pressure that Collins provides when he rolls to the rim.

His driving ability continues to impress as well. He gets trapped a ton, but what happens when he doesn't and is allowed to get into the paint? I'll just leave this amazing statistic here. He is 4th in the league in drives per game over this span, with an ABSURD 19 assists and only 3 turnovers. No other player in the league has come even close to that ratio.
