He’s the rookie of the year with Ayton and Trae currently behind him. Shoutout to WCJ who I’m confident will be in that mix by seasons end

True. Ayton shot is busted right now tho. That nets game the other night Allen was leaving him wide open daring him to shoot. His defense is pretty bad too. I think 5’s are shooting like 70% at the rim against him. Plus Ayton and Canaan defending the pnr is comedic on every level

Nah man. That Nets game was his worst shooting game of the year.Otherwise, his mid range J is automatic.

His problem is passivity. When he decides to play aggressive, he's the best rookie in this class.

It's frustrating to watch.Every other game, he'll go a on a 5 min spurt of pure dominance, but then the

Suns will suddenly stop giving him the ball. It's a 3pt happy league

Have the best vision since Lebron and average the same assist numbers as a center :mjlol:

“But but his team!” “But but but his field goal percentage!”

Lmao I should have known with Markelle Fultz in your avy that scoring 18 points a game on 15 shots (:heh::heh::heh:) is impressive.

That's right, a supposed great 3 point shooter is averaging a whopping 1.2 points per shot attempt:huhldup:

Meanwhile Luka's statline is a hair outside of the the Jordan + Bron 20/5/5 club.:umad:

EDIT: I checked the stats again. Young is shooting 26% FROM THREE :bryan::bryan::bryan: STOP IT SLIME

It's funny how almost every basketball head and analyst is in full agreement that Luka is the truth.

Except for like 5-10 delusional haters in this thread that think Trae Young shooting a broke ass 25% or whatever from 3 is godlike and are furious that a Slovenian tubby boy came into this grown man league and started doing work with veteran efficiency from the jump.

Nah, but I'm sure we're all wrong and you guys are right. The guy with the green light jacking up shots and missing at an alarming percentage is DEFINITELY the better player than the guy putting up historically good rookie numbers.

Should have been the #1 pick.

I don't know...

Suns needed a big man...and they had Josh Jackson and TJ Warren...Ayton is skilled offensive big man but his defense is ass...

Neither Doncic or Booker can play defense...probably what the Suns were thinking....

Now the Hawks should've taken Doncic...but they ain't gonna pass up on that trade...

I think everything went down rather rationally...

Idk man. Everything I saw and heard prior to the draft was a European generational talent. Ayton looked like a future Amare to me. His defense is so bad and he couldn’t do anything to avoid getting bounced in the first round of the tournament. Meanwhile, Luka is out there dominating and winning in the 2nd highest level in the world at the age of 18/19. And then when you think about where the game is going, it seemed like a no brainer to me. You ship Jackson or Warren out if they don’t fit around the best player. He could actually be playing point forward for them right now. He could have fit on virtually any team in the top 5. I couldn’t believe that my local team (Hawks) traded him.

Trae Young will be good if can start making his shots, but Luka has pretty much the total package offensively and plays a cerebral game.
