A lot of shytty opinions on both sides in the last couple of pages.

Trae been fine. Right now he has been heavily defended. He has had some lows and some highs. Clearly struggling of late.

Since Barnes has returned, Doncic has been looking like the ROY and he has been playing well. Once again, let's wait till Collins is back for Young. Teams are game planning around Young right now. We need someone who can help Young the way he is helping them.

Saw him in person for the first time tonight.

He's savvy as shyt. He has all the old man stuff, the head fake, the Rondo fake pass, the show + go AND he's more athletic than he looks. He can get to his spots and he's strong enough to finish though mild contact.

If he comes back next yr 5-10ish pounds lighter, quicker, and stronger he's an all star.

Dirk's presence could be huge for him. His low post game is flashy but not yet reliable enough to be a 1st option. If he becomes even 50% of what Dirk was in the high post he's a 28-7-5 player easily.

EDIT: Spelling
I love Luka game.

No rookie is even in the same vicinity as Luka at the moment. Dude is 19 years old, looking like a vet out there.
This is true. When Barnes came back, Luka went to a different level. Before that, Young and Ayton was a notch above. For Ayton, he needs a legit center. Young needs Collins back

Idk man. Everything I saw and heard prior to the draft was a European generational talent. Ayton looked like a future Amare to me. His defense is so bad and he couldn’t do anything to avoid getting bounced in the first round of the tournament. Meanwhile, Luka is out there dominating and winning in the 2nd highest level in the world at the age of 18/19. And then when you think about where the game is going, it seemed like a no brainer to me. You ship Jackson or Warren out if they don’t fit around the best player. He could actually be playing point forward for them right now. He could have fit on virtually any team in the top 5. I couldn’t believe that my local team (Hawks) traded him.

Trae Young will be good if can start making his shots, but Luka has pretty much the total package offensively and plays a cerebral game.
It's crazy how teams talked themselves out of Doncic when like you said, he's the perfect guy for where the league is heading. This wasn't the usual Euro getting hyped off 12 minutes per game who goes high off potential. This guy won MVP in the second best league in the world as a teenager.

We saw with Okafor, you can't take a big who's trash at defense. Ayton's not even averaging one block per game for godsakes.

I can't believe dude said they already had Josh Jackson and TJ Warren as reasons not to take Doncic. :smhkobe:

I wanted Bagley and Doncic the most. Ayton and Young are going to be studs but I got my doubts with both to a degree

I think Dallas made the best move of the de draft
Found a dirk replacement with a coach willing to let him be the go to guy in crunch time

I think they should try and move dsj and get luka a different 1 to run with.
I think you give them the full year because DSJ is talented but if he still shows his gunner style and bad tendencies you ship him.

Those stats gotta be skewed

Nope it was on sports synergy. I mean look at this

Allen giving him the Biyombo treatment. I mean we all know he can shoot dude just struggling right now

Your opinion on Barnes' effect on Luka's play is false

This

Harrison Barnes is clearly still injured. He is out there playing thru an injury.

Barnes is still struggling to get up and down the court. That hamstring is still bothering him.

Now I can see breh statement being true once Dirk and Barnes are back truly healthy.

Another 20 and 10+ assist game for Trae, this time under the bright lights. :ohlawd:

Since last time y’all pretended it didn’t happen because it was against Cleveland. :mjlol:

Doncic, the player with the best court vision for his age of all time, has yet to get double digit assists or double digit rebounds :jbhmm: something to keep an eye on.

“But but his field goal percentage!”

Why are you saying FG% when that's far more impressive than padding rebound stats?
