"Experts" swore he'd never be a 20 ppg type player, but he'd be a good glue guy in the league.

Averaging nearly 20 in his first 6 games

I don't think Luka's shooting is a fluke. He has a higher ceiling than I thought. :ehh:

Trae Young is exactly who I thought. :lolbron:

We saw Trae Fredette up close at OU. I made sure the Coli kept the spotlight on him. He’s not that guy.

I said that from the FIRST game I saw of him. The very first play I saw him run, I thought, "Damn, he sure as hell knows how to play the ball and does a lot of smart shyt, but it takes him WAY too much work to get separation." And then when I saw him try to hit layups it was a wrap. He's just too unathletic at his height to be the kind of star people want him to be. People were talking about Curry but Curry is way more athletic than Trae, and Curry is a far better finisher too.

He just had a 30+ point game at 19 years old, creating buckets for himself all over the floor. I think it's safe to say he's not going to be a bust. The only possible way @staticshock can come out of this with some sort of a W is if Trae turns into a superstar.

:lolbron:

Y’all talking like Trae didn’t drop 35 last week and leads all rookies and scoring and assists. Keep that same energy when he wins ROY tho

Playing on a bad team in the most stat-inflated season in years. As proven previously, his percentages are all below average.

The Spurs played some of the most pathetic defense I’ve ever seen them play. Literally almost all his shots were uncontested :scust:

the only thing that "annoys" me with doncic is when he tries to do that last second pass

keep getting turnovers

other than that,he is gonna be a star, his handling is pretty nice:wow:

That floater looks deadly especially at his height:ehh:

If he's got that in the bag then his lack of vertical won't be an issue trying to finish. And it'll open up passing lanes if defenders have to step up to defend that.
