Still prefer WV but they nailed this ending.
The best thing about all this is...that they took a concept and a character that on paper sounds like a clusterfukk coming to life. But they laid the foundation for him with the entire show. Variants, timelines ect....everything flowed so seamlessly toward the ending and has opened up so much. And most importantly they stuck the fukking landing.
Whole time we're thinking this show is about Loki and his character arc and nah, it's really about setting up Kang as the next villain and introducing the audience to the multiverse.
Marvel with the bait and switch
This show lowkey sets up “What If” and it laid the foundation for “Doctor Strange and The Multiverse Of Madness.” Wouldnt even be surprised if Loki pops up in a post credit scene.
This show also lowkey set up Spidey 3 and how Tobey and Andrew Garfield pops up.
This episode lowkey set the foundation on how the mutants can be introduced and the Fantastic Four. As well as Deadpool..

If anything it just shows the amount of quality these disney plus shows have. The house of mouse is dropping the bag on these shows and it's only gonna get better from here.
Like someone else said Feige is basically forcing fans of the mcu to get disney plus if they want to stay informed. Having quality like this is how to keep your customers.
We are going from 3 movies a year to 4 movies and 5-6 tv shows a year.
Or that the TVA we started with "never existed" because various Kangs were able to re-write the timeline and alter things and only our Loki knows the difference because he was outside of time when it happened.

Marvel just made a dope show that's a villain origin story (for someone most people never heard of) for their next slate of movies and DC can't figure out what to do with the Justice League.

Johnathon Majors has already been officially casted as "Kang" and will appear in antman 3. This has already been announced.
The fact that he didn't specifically call himself "Kang" in this episode is making alot of us believe that it was simply a variant of Kang. Namely "Immortus"
