Iook, forward to seeing Kang in Antman, opening up the multiverse post end game was the push the mcu needed.

now how do they get the fantastic four in this if kang is from the 31st century?

I hope Shang chi does something interesting to add to the mcu cause I’m kinda tired of these solo movies at this point, I want everything to feel like it’s a part of something else

I have a theory.... there's only ONE Kang.

He let silvey kill him to free him. He probably was trapped and that castle was a prison. he waited until their was a tear in the timeline (both loki's helped facilitate that) to throw off everything with his "help" because he knew how most of everything would play out. But once he reached the point of no return, he needed someone to kill him to free him.

OR this kang was imprisoned by the other Kangs... He killed most of them, and the remaining few lelft him in that prison.

OR the time keepers gave him immortality but he ended up wanting to leave. they wouldn't let him so he killed them.

Eventually after exhausing millions of scenarios where he could free himself, he figured out the one option. Selvey "killing" him at the RIGHT moment time. He probably waited millions of years for it to happen.

And now he's free :manny:

I can definitely tell just from this episode that Kang is going to be a great villain. He looks kind of goofy in the comics but Jonathan Majors killed it. Can't wait to see the evil(er) versions.

I'm slightly disappointed that his first appearance will be in Antman 3 though. No offense to Ant-Man but he seems kind of beneath Kang...

maybe Ant Man does something wild like go to the future.

maybe introduces some "quantum specialist heroes" ...

Can almost guarantee we will see him well before Ant-Man 3

I think everyone would agree that Tom Hiddleston showed so much depth in this series that it really blew me away. Especially after the last episode! And to think, he’s been playing this character for overall several years is really amazing.

Loki’s season finale villain is a complete story-killer

Polygon's out here hating on this badass ending ya'll. :hhh:
Watched a few not a lot of online reviews on YouTube and yeah it seems the professional reviewers are more lukewarm on this than the fans. Fans who just do reaction videos and their channel isn't like their profession seemed to love it. While more professional channels who do reviews and even interviews are a bit meh. Interesting dynamic.

In conclusion.

1. The TVA was real. And it was probably used to keep Kang locked up :dead:
2. Kang figured out it would take a nexus level branch that not even the timekeepers saw that would free him.
3. He's immortal, so he figured if he was killed during that new timeline, he would be reborn.
4. That's why as soon as both loki's came to him, it was at the right time.
5. He picked Silvey because he knew she would kill him and basically set him free.
6. Why else would his "death" unlock the timelines? The TVA was still there.

So there's only one Kang.

It’s really fukking crazy how far marvel went with this, they literally paid their dues for 10 years straight crafting all of these pieces, they showed they could take over cinema with a 22 movie connected saga, of course not every addition is stellar and a select few aren’t even good…but they have reached a point now where they are literally throwing out entire plots that are a comic readers wet dream which would sound like nothing but a pipe dream 7-8 years ago…some people really thought putting 6 already established hero’s in one movie was about to be the peak :wow:

Man this episode was suburb.

If you know anything about kang at all they knocked it out the park.

Also merging him and the one who remains very smart and a good choice

I feel like this is better to those that are long time comic heads.

Sadly they couldn't nail reg old taskmaster...

How is he 'immortal' if he was just some dude from the 31st century?
