Not at all to me. MK is meant to be satire. Parents wanted it banned because parents are parents. That's what they do. They're worried about kids repeating what they see in tv or film or games. Same reason they had/have a problem with pro wrestling. But the video game always played it with a wink, as did robocop which is meant to be satirical, just like mortal kombat. Logan isn't trying to be a satire at all so the violence isn't played with any sort of a wink at all.

Yeah I can go back and watch Robocop and laugh my ass off at it. But Logan? Nah man..... nah

Reminds me of the time I saw saving private Ryan in theatres and some piece of shyt couple had their kids in there watching it and they were no older than 10.

Story was dope, and a "villain" per say was not needed cause of how the plot was. The Organisation was so liiiiit they were Ham

They made you feel Logan was really dying , that scene in the car and his face was purple, I could see the death in his face

They made you FEEL shyt all over the movie, it was powerful

i knew ole girl from orange is the new black was gonna get bodied but they did her dirty.

And the way they were trying to dust those kid mutants in the facility.....

There is no reason why you'd allow your 8 yr old to see this movie. Let them watch xmen the animated series or something but Logan is too mature for them.

That movie was so fukking good but it was sad the entire time because you could just feel Logan was gonna die.

The worst part is all 3 Wolverine movies could have been like this and been possibly the greatest comic book movie series ever. I understand X-Men being cheesy, but they should have went ham on Wolverine from the start. Damn shame Hugh Jackman is old as fukk now, and a reboot would be just weird.

Question though....

Why was Logan so sick. They kept hinting that something was poisoning him and killing him slowly. What was it? Was it the Adamantium?

From what I got from the movie, all the mutants were sick and dying, probably due to a virus. I remember them taking medicine, or maybe that was for professior x

The meds they gave professor x was to stop the seizures

The weapon x like bad guys (alkali as in alkali lake where x2 was i believe) put things in everydau food that stopped the x gene from forming. There are still mutants but a lot of them died. Professor x killed several xmen and logan took him and hid. They didnt make it clear what happened to all the xmen but wolverine did say real life was nothing like the comics and people died so we should expect more xmen died than we have seen in the flicks so possibly professor x killed most of the xmen n logan decided to take professor x and run due to the govt being after them

There still should be a lot of mutants out there but prolly in hiding as well.

Also, people have stated that the previous movies might not have happened at all, i do think they happened since they refer to the forst film finding logan as a cage fighter and the xmen were big enough to cause a comic book. The movies have always been toned down versions of the books anyway. Since dofp deleted x2-x3 and possibly parts x1, im not sure whats really what anymore but i would think they still had many mormore battles of epic scale well get movies from possibly tho logan seems to be the true end? Idk..

In one scene Logan did say the Statue of Liberty incident happened "a long time ago" so the first X-Men (or parts of it) might be canon. It is also possible that The Wolverine can be canon because the katana he got at the end is on Logan's bedroom wall.

X-24 reminded me of how ridiculous Wolverine was. Whenever he showed up I just felt so bad that Logan had to deal with that shyt. It was stressful

I still think it was the same poison that was killing the other mutants that made him weak and then the adamantium poisoning kicked in.

Like I said, kids these days are babied. Logan was not so grounded in reality that an 8 year old couldn't handle the concepts. Even of you think robocop was over the top, the terminator wasnt, alien wasn't satire. There are plenty of examples of violent movies we all watched as kids.

At the end of the day this is a comic book movie with a very comic book plot. You dudes are acting like it's city of God or something too much for an 8 year old.

These nikkas trippin,Robocop getting blown to pieces while they all laughed while they did it,was more gruesome and grown than anything in Logan

Cats just need to admit they now,and are protective as parents....you now understand the bullshyt your parents was talking about when they didnt want you seeing violent movies,or playing GTA

And far as the story,it aint too much deeper than some of the Xmen plotlines from the cartoon,and no more adult then the average episode of Batman The Animated series.

But everybody knows what they kid is prepared for,or too stupid to comprehend

But its definitley not a automatic disqualify for every 8 year old imo,i would say majority of 8 year olds who would be interested in even seeing it could handle it.

Movie held up just as great the second time,its definitley a classic yall

And was Logan going to leave her in the woods after he buried Xavier lol?he went to the car without her and it just so happened to not start....and i gotta say that young white guy whos name i dont remember was actually a good villian under the circumstances.

You gotta realize they didnt even really make him do anything straight evil,but you still wanted to see him get killed at the end,so props to him.
