And why the hell are you trying to make this thread about Kobe vs Jordan:scusthov:

Insecure Jordan stans, mad because their "GAWD" has a losing career record without Scottie Pippen by his side......same cant be said for Kobe:umad:

Take away BOTH of their HOF teammates and Phil Jackson and Jordan's career STILL cant compare to Kobe's:ufdup:
:mjlol: Ok Breh
Take away Mjs whole career a compare the last two years to kobe. That's not a slanted cherry picking argument

Take away BOTH of their (their means both Jordan's and Kobe's:mjpls:) HOF teammates and Phil Jackson and Jordan's career cant compare to Kobe's.

Kobe w/o Shaq or Gasol on his roster has a better career than Jordan's career loser record without Scottie next to him:sas2:

I'll let you have that, in this overly contrived sad scenario that really means nothing, kobe gets the w.

Thank you:obama:
although if i compared kobes rookie year numbers and his age 39 numbers to mjs same age numbers that you had to use in that scenario.
MJ's Stats would be >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>:mjlol:

Why yall stans gotta compare him to Jordan, dude isn't even in the same stratosphere. Kobe is a poor mans Jordan

Not only that but there is still 5 other guys that are easily better than Kobe career wise as well
to be honest i still have kobe as the third best laker.

i have Kareem at number 1 (kobe is never passing him in accolades rings, or accomplishments)
6-time NBA champion vs Kobe's lil 5
6-time NBA Most Valuable Player vs kobe's lil 1
2-time scoring champion tied with Kobe
19-time NBA All-Star vs kobes lil 16
2-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player tied with Kobe

  • 15-time All-NBA selection: tied with kobe
NBA Rookie of the Year (Kobe couldn't get this?:heh: mike miller got one of these:mjlol:
Three-time NCAA champion (Kobe chose to ride the bench instead)
all time leading scorer (Kobe all time leading misser :mjlol:)
Magic at number 2 (he got five rings too but 3 finals mvps, picture magic losing out to shaq :mjlol:)

Then Kobe at number 3

you put all the laker legends in their prime on the same team and kobe will at best be a 2nd option.

not really when u consider Kobe took so many more 3s than mike. their 2 point fg% is closer.

Kobe career 2fg% = 48.2%
Jordan career 2fg% = 51.0%

2.8% is a not a marginal difference but it ain't "pretty big" either.

That's because, As Phil Jackson has stated, Jordan was stronger, with broader shoulders and as a result he was able to back defenders deeper into the post than Kobe, hence the more efficient scoring.

Stop giving Kobe credit for taking a greater amount of lower percentage shots (the three pointer) than Jordan - it's reflective of his lower Bball IQ.

I have Magic #1 and Kobe #2 but if Kareem spent his entire career as a Laker, he'd be #1 easily b/c of everything you said.
