how is passing someone in shots attempted without passing them in points scored remotely equate to flattery?
essentially means kobe wasn't as good at putting the ball in the basket as mj

never argued kobe was as good or better than jordan in that regard. i was simply responding to the guy that made it seem like it took kobe 4 extra years to pass jordan. i was simply correcting him that the gap was about a month when you take shot attempts into account. jordan averaged way more attempts per game over his career than kobe hence the 4 year gap. plus kobe essentially lost 2 years of his playing career. one to the achilles and knee injury and another because of the 2 lockouts he had to deal with during his career.

remember this stat. for every shot attempt kobe scored 1.300 points while Jordan scored 1.315. maybe to some that is a huge difference. i would disagree.

yes jordan was more efficient scoring the ball. however, the gap is MARGINAL considering the amount of shots both attempted over their careers.

never argued kobe was as good or better than jordan in that regard. i was simply responding to the guy that made it seem like it took kobe 4 years to pass jordan given the same attempts. i was simply correcting him that the gap was about a month.

remember this stat. for every shot attempt kobe scored 1.300 points while Jordan scored 1.315. maybe to some that is a huge difference. i would disagree.

D Wades is 1.44 for every shot attempt. That particular stat can be misleading mainly due to how it attrubutes Freethrows to your shot attempts and everybody knows MJ played in an era where fouls weren't called as tightly as they are now.
The number to rember is this
jordans career fg% is .497
kobes career fg% is .45

pretty big difference considering they play a similiar game

This is why john stockton isn't considered greater than Magic
God Tier vs Marathon Tier
:what: No its not. This is why. Stockton has NONE of this.

NBA champion (1980, '82, '85, '87, '88)
NBA Finals MVP (1980, '82, '87)
NBA MVP (1987, '89, '90)
Nine-time All-NBA First Team (1983-91)
12-time All-Star
All-Star MVP (1990, '92)

:snoop: You said this just to make an agenda vs. Kobe Da Gawd.

People arent talking about kobes rings or accolades, and it they did it wouldnt matter because MJ clearly has more rings and MVPs than Kobe.

they're talking about his career stats,
last i checked Stockton was the all time career assists leader
:camby:with your :flabbynsick: rebuttal
negged for thinking you made some kind of point with this post
:umad:

No you monkey head midget, what about Magic's points' assists, and rebounds then? THAT'S why Stockton isn't considered greater than Magic. "This is why Stockton isn't considered greater than Magic?" Because he played longer? NO jackass, it's because he was BETTER. Stupid ass.

Eff outta here, no it's not, you responded to that God vs. Marathon post and you were saying Stockton isn't considered greater because the reason he trumped Magic is because Stockton played longer and I pointed out that's not why. Niqqa STFU with your stupid ass reasoning. Your negs don't do shyt:pachaha:

not really when u consider Kobe took so many more 3s than mike. their 2 point fg% is closer.

Kobe career 2fg% = 48.2%
Jordan career 2fg% = 51.0%

2.8% is a not a marginal difference but it ain't "pretty big" either.

And why the hell are you trying to make this thread about Kobe vs Jordan:scusthov:

Insecure Jordan stans, mad because their "GAWD" has a losing career record without Scottie Pippen by his side......same cant be said for Kobe without Shaq or Gasol:umad:

Take away BOTH of their HOF teammates and Phil Jackson and Jordan's career STILL cant compare to Kobe's:ufdup:
