You are the one who brought up story credit on WW as if that points to what he contributed to the script. We see how much Whedon butchered his JL script but still got credit.

I mean low bar.

They might just both be middling for different reasons.

We’ll see.

There's a clear difference here. Snyder was working with Patty Jenkins. Snyder did not collaborate with Whedon.

I understand. My point was giving credit is notoriously difficult since stuff is written, rewritten and punched up.

Patty Jenkins wrote over a script from Heinberg, Fuchs, and Johns after McLaren dropped out as director.

Here's how the Wonder Woman script came together
Roven said that the process began with just two writers, when the project was being directed by Michelle MacLaren, not Jenkins. Apparently, one set their story in the Crimean War, while another set their's in World War I, but told a different story than the final product. "For our Wonder Woman, we didn't like the ultimate take on those scripts, even though they're talented guys, and Zack [Snyder] and Allan Heinberg then collaborated on a story," he said. MacLaren then brought a number of other writers on, with Roven saying that they had more writers working on the story at the same time than he'd ever seen before.

In the end, though, Heinberg is the only one with a writing credit on the film, while Snyder and Fuchs have story credits. Roven says that there are things from most of the other writers in the final script, but not enough to get a credit. Two people who he says helped quite a bit are Johns and Jenkins

As with the JL situation a script can be butchered and still get credit.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
DC fukked up by making Zod and his goons too :wow:

for one, justice league showed how Superman was the get out of jail free card. He easily took care of the villains.

So Zod and his crew shouldn’t have been defeated so easily since they were genetically bred to be warriors, not to mention, they had the same powers as Superman :mindblown: shyt was dumb. They should’ve at least got a sequel or at least been saved for a justice league movie. :snoop:

you could tell MOS was meant to be a stand alone trilogy, and they nerfed the remnants of it in BvS, as Batman and Superman literally had no legitimate beef. I mean where was Wonder Woman in MOS. She showed up for everything else but not to help save Metropolis? :mjpls:

My beef with the DCEU is they tried to take shortcuts just to keep up with the MCU. They didn’t build a proper universe. They either skipped over or gave flimsy ass backstories. You’re not really invested in the characters. When Superman died in BvS nobody gave a shyt because you barely got to know the character.

This Cinematic universe could’ve been epic, but now it’s been reduced to them trying to fix their fukkups on the fly.

Release a new Batman trailer all while announcing that a DIFFERENT Batman actor is returning :dahell:

shyt is dumb. You got tv shows that are completely different from the movies. This shyt is a fukking mess.

I really liked both BVS extended cut an MOS..

WB forced zack's hand to play from behind instead taking the appropriate time to build.

Which is why I like the move to HBO cause theyll synder the room can time to throughly build his universe or complete the justice league trilogy

Also flashpoint will reset the DCEU to older batman and batgirl. Pattinson batman takes place outside that universe, so a multi-verse batman is okay

The details that are missing from the original is there in the extended, even some of the fight scenes were edited, like in the extended cut batman stabs and bad guys in the ribs the knife and then twists it..lol..that's missing from the movie version.

Well the movie/TV series isn't out yet. Hold that backfire order! lol

It might just end up being decent. I'm not holding my breath, because before he even left the project, the word from the rumor mill was that Justice League was going to be just as divisive, as BvS. A lot of the hype for the Snyder cut is because the movie was trash. So people, even if they aren't fans of what Snyder has done with these characters, are interested in seeing the differences. Which that's the camp I'm in.
