No loss there. He wrote some cool little jokes for the first Avengers but as a whole the story was a fukkin layup for him. He showed his true colors on Age of Ultron which sucked and then came over and fukked up JL also.

Nah joss was killin shyt on Astonishing X-Men decades before Avengers ever assembled on the big screen. His budget for the first film mighta been off but let's not throw dirt on his name just cause he mighta been on some other shyt. Also The AOU's fukkery came from studio interference, same as Iron Man 2 and Thor: The Dark World.

Ultron as a villian shouldve gotten more than one movie. I think that movie is also why they won't do unnecessary obligatory Avengers movies unless the threat calls for it. They tried to cram too many storylines in one movie.
Ultron as a villian deserved Thanos treatment, but they already had Thanos so.....
Feige won't make that mistake again. Wheedon simply got burnt out fukking with that flick.

I'm talkin specifically on his big budget projects here.. The Avengers was all mapped out for him from Feige/Favreau. The Age of Ultron movie was a steep decline..

I think he can be a good writer at times but he went over the top on these movies to the point where they didn't hit dramatically speaking and I think his action sequences are mostly generic or at least they were after The Avengers because I liked the 360 shot in there and also the tracking shot in New York.

This is just ridiculous at this point.. They are on a string of like 5-6 big hits in a row and I don't just mean financially I mean also critically (if you're into that) and also with fans..
Plus, The Batman is coming. WW84 is coming. Black Adam. The Flash. The Suicide Squad. I'm probably forgetting something but anyway this Snyder Cut is part of the HBO MAX expansion for DC.
I think it will be better but even if it wasn't it means nothing for the movie studio, it's part of the streaming platform.

I don't see them recouping tbh and Corona might make their situation worse since movie theatres have cut down seating and a lot of companies are shutting down theatres in different cities.
In terms of streaming, Disney did some bullshyt with the Mulan release and charged $34 to watch on Disney+
Unless HBO is allowing you to watch new DC films with a smaller surcharge, this will be an uphill battle for DC with not much to gain since they already spend 200-300 mill a movie (Aquaman, BvS, Justice League)
I still don't even get why they're even bothering with a black adam movie if they're already working on another Shazam movie

Not sure what you mean Aquaman made well over a billion at the box office they obviously made a lot of money on that. Joker only cost $70M to make and that made over a billion at the box office so that had to have been easy money..
Over the years Black Adam has been portrayed as an anti-hero so while I'm sure he will be in a Shazam movie he was gonna get his own movie because of that and because The Rock is playing him
