Does nothing for me. The music. The shyt CGI. The ugly cinematography. How Snyder still has fans who thinks his on the level someone like Nolan is laughable

Irrelevant considering Ironman 3 in 2013 on his own I repeat Ironman made a billion, considering on his own Batman had made a billion...twice once in 2008 and the other time in 2012. Yet Batman and Superman together couldn’t crack a billion.:mjlol::mjlol:yeah I guess it just wasn’t the right time and it had nothing to do with the steep decline of movie goers after bad word of mouth. The movie made a shyt load of money in the first few days of release because people were hyped for a Batman and Superman movie. Of course after people caught wind of the quality the drop in earnings was immediate. You can hype up the movie as a misunderstood masterpiece if you want but to say this was anything but underwhelming at the box office is just a bold face lie.

And just to clarify the height isn’t determined by earnings but by the output and frequency of movies coming out in the same genre. 2018/2019 was the peak as in after that the decline possibly occurs as endgame is more than likely going to go unsurpassed for a long long time.

Then explain why Spider-Man featuring Iron Man didn't do a billion? At the "height" of the era...

Aquaman made way more than them two :manny:

Featuring Ironman? Ironman was barely in the movie as opposed to Batman a title holder. Notice I didn’t get technical and mention Wonder Woman. So in essence it was the trinity of DC and they didn’t crack a billy. Besides I thought homecoming sucked you won’t ever see me trying to pass it off as a masterpiece.:yeshrug:

With the exception of infinity war, endgame, avengers 2, civil war, which were major collab events
Only black panther , and cap marvel did a bill
The rest of marvel's movies were under.

BVS did 850 mill on 200mill budget

I hate to keep derailing this thread but it seems you are missing the point tha the movie is seen as underperforming. To clarify it means it did not do what it was meant to do, prior to the film coming out it was hailed as a historic movie event that couldn’t be missed. Batman V Superman together on the big screen at last. Hell even the first weeks earnings were through the roof, then came the second week when word of mouth got around:francis:. No one is saying 800 million is anything to scoff at just that it was below the earning potential of these two juggernauts coming together.

after lookin at the stats, i think you're correct in your assessment. While 800ms isn't a small number, some of Marvels worst movies did that.

and i dont care why dc thinks Suicide Squad failed. bottom line was the movie was a mess and damn near pointless, save for Margot's Harley performance
