Why is it that majority of the discussion between Marvel/DC/FOX comic book flicks revolves around tone and whether or not jokes were made

I don't see shyt like 'it wasn't fun" or "it had too many jokes" directed towards non-comic book movies

Exactly..... Majority of QT's movies have been darker and funnier than all the DC movies yet no one would complain about the "jokes" in his movies

Humor doesn't hurt Tarentino Movies

Humor didn't hurt T2 a universally LOVED movie

Humor didn't hurt Spiderman, OG Batman, and Ironman (going back to comic book movies and movies that no one really shyts on)

Humor doesn't hurt shows like The Walking Dead, The Wire, Sopranos, The Shield.

Humor didn't hurt the OG Star Wars movies.

I'm not saying that humor in itself hurts every movie though

I'm saying that based on all of the reports it seems like DC is about to give us the same shyt as Marvel when they need to be different

It's a movie about people running around in capes and shyt, try not to take yourself too seriously

I didn't say that, but there can be SOME light moments.

Have you seen any of the DC animated justice league movies? Flash, Shazam, and Green Lantern stay with the jokes and there's nothing wrong with it.
