Just left the theater. Entire audience applauded. I felt like I watched it with the perfect audience. Ppl of similar free open minds not clouded by stupidity media scare tactics that were supporting some retarded idea of mass shooting sympathy. Like what the director Todd Phillips said where was this outcry for a little movie called John Wick which is a million times worse in gun violence.

However
Movie was terrific. PHEONIX DESERVES THE OSCAR!!!!
Will be high on my best of the year list for sure.

I don't understand how anyone could prefer Joaquin's to Ledger's performance. Opening heist, pencil trick, "LOOK AT ME", the bazooka scene, poisoning judges, crashing the Wayne party, laughing maniacally while being dangled from a building, etc. It's like comparing Michael Corleone to Jeremy Strong on Succession, except I'd say Strong on Succession is better than this trash.

:comeon:
He was whining nikka

Give me some puns
nikka imagined he had a whole girlfriend

Jack was swaggy had mad hos
Heath wouldn’t let no kids jump him

Payofff wasn’t as good as once upon a time in Hollywood
This was a Origin story for the joker . Heaths joker was probably very similar to flecks Based on the origins he offers in the movie for his scars simp or lame was how he got them . Joker in 89 was a two bit hood who only became joker due to falling in acid .

Just finished watching this...blew me away:wow: Arthur’s life was “One Bad Joke” By the end, he had the last laugh:wow: So many layers of the movie that really gets at you and makes you wonder if you lived the life that he lived, how would you turn out? I may go and watch this again.

I can’t help but wonder if this version of Joker was in the Dark Knight. Just how drastically different that movie would’ve been.

Was there any added security to the theaters y’all went to? There was in mine. Couple dudes in suits looking like wannabe secret service. It was kind of annoying because they kept coming in and out of the theater every 15 minutes or so taking a look around. :stopitslime:

Not here in Japan. It was just any other regular day in theaters. I went early at 9:50 am.
