Scripts getting turned in means very little.


We have no idea when this script was started,and it being turned in doesn't mean it's the final draft. It could get 5 more rewrites for all we know. The movie could never actually happen.

This is what I've learned from the thread.

If DC has every movie take place within one universe then "why are they copying"

If DC has standalone movies separate from their universe "they have no idea what they're doing! "

There is nothing wrong with the concept. Comic books have always had alternative timelines and stories. These movies don't all have to take place in the same timeline.

In that part, DC is actually being innovative and taking from what works in comics.

This is what non comic fans dont understand. If they made a movie off fire one shots or multiverse stories you know how happy REAL comic heads would be? Imagine DC making movies like Flashpoint or a Battle For The Cowl series alongside a main DC cinematic universe a Red Son cold war thriller movie
