I'll give you the first part...I wasn't really arguing about the blood oath but, the fact that all the hell John Wick was raining down on Santiago, his men and his organization was all due to Santiago using John to murder his sister and then trying to assassinate John afterwards. John was willing to do the job but, Santiago was foul for trying to kill him afterwards. And it blew up in his face. So I can't agree with the 2nd part. It's a dikk move. And if I'm one of his henchmen I'm not dying for that nikka at all. Especially if I"m seeing John lay down 200 nikkas right before he got to me. I'd hand Santiago's bytch ass right over. nikka was so bytch made about it, he couldn't kill John off himself, he had to send out a global hit on John for millions of dollars. I don't really expect anything less from a character that would murder his own sister though.

Also...he completely overreacted by blowing John's house up. The next scene the owner of the Continental explained that by making a blood oath with Santiago, John HAD to do it or DIE. So unless John was planning on going up against everybody, he would have had to do it. He would have came to that realization without Santiago blowing up his house. Santiago torched his relationship with John on his own.

Yep, but the fukked up thing is that John had to pay because he murked off somebody from the High Table. I think they mentioned that at some point in the movie. Either way John was fukked.

That's the question isn't it...that's the main reason I had an actual physical reaction like someone punched me in the gut when he did it.

Why was that shocking to you? Wick wasn't going to let him hide there

We'll see in Part 3. At the end when he started running and his dog was right by his side the whole time was really dope. That was a beautiful pit by the way. Like John said he'll be ready and kill them all whenever they decide to come after him. After he killed the other assassins in NY I doubt any of them would want it with Baba Yega but you know its gonna be some young whipper snapper with something to prove thats gonna test him.

Honestly thought the 1st movie was better than this one. In the 1st movie he wasn't superman, you actually got the sense that he could die which made the payoff of the shootouts more satisfying. The villain in this one was weak too, the Santiago sister was a much better character than the brother imo. The first 15 minutes was dope but there was no sense of mystery/intrigue about the continental like there was in the first one. They could have done a lot more with the premise of the international assassin community and the political fukkery of the high table, as it was the high table in this film just seemed to serve as a set up for the next film. I wouldn't watch this again tbr

The scene where those two are shooting at each other in the airport is straight comedy

I just realized Common looks like Freddy off House of Cards. Even sounded like him a little bit.

That was a train station; Fulton Center to be specific. If you're from NY you notice how poorly edited those scenes are.

I think the reason folks would come after him is because they don't believe the stories. It seems like everyone that hears of him knows how he rocks, but doesn't believe he's a gun demon. He's the Omar of assassins.

It means John can make another blood oath to someone, which will likely be the way he finds protection from all the dudes coming after him. Not sure how many people will fukk with it after what he did here, unless he can actually find a way to make someone very important make a blood oath to him instead.

Saw this today. I'll fully admit, I enjoyed the first one but wasn't crazy about it like many others were. ()
This right here though?
The first action film since the Raid: Redemption that had me mark out at what was happening. So many

moments, just a nonstop highlight reel of action.

Really looking forward to Part 3
