saw it last night...already a big Tarantino fan so it's hard for me not to like and I know what to expect

I really liked the development of Sheriff Mannix character

I saw a young black couple walk out half way through the movie which left me feeling a bit uneasy.

Well I will say that Channing Tatum pretty much squashed any doubts that he could play a Cajun character like Gambit

I said prior that this could have been a good Django Sequel
its a good follow up to django, but i dont think QT does sequels, mind you he envision kill bill 1 and 2 to be one entire film, if they were to do a django sequel id like to see robert rodriques direct one

but hey he wrote a sequel and let it be adapted into comic form :yeshrug:, i have it on hardback and its more or less the zorro flick from 1999

it even has its own soundtrack

It flopped :blessed:

Hold this L, QT :ahh:
It's made 103 milly off a 44 mil budget. But yea its nowhere near the smash successes of basterds or especially django.

Add in marketing and what they had to spend to outfit theaters with 70mm and they might have a small loss on their hands but should be made up with the home releases

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic: $52,316,982 50.6%
+ Foreign: $51,007,561 49.4%
= Worldwide: $103,324,543
