Lol he use to more boring now he's more like the show. He's actually leading the GL with guy and Hal is gone rogue . Kyle is captured

So Hal Jordan and John Stewart can be GL at the same time on Earth? I don't read the comics and in the tv shows there's always just one of them around right? So i guess Hal's ring isn't the same ring that John uses?

There's a whole green lantern corps . There is really only one suppose to be per sector but the earth ones are alternates to Hal . Google it

I dig this idea....the gl universe is huge and has so much potential, no need for 1 lantern (hal) to carry it...so it would be cool to start with the 3 they thinking about....they can introduce kyle in the sequel....as for who should play the parts: I dig the pick for hal...for john I want hodge, I think he'd kill it....for guy, I think the cat from the ocean movies (one of the brothers)/dan-o from Hawaii 5-0 (name slipping my mind, his daddy is an actor, kahn i think is his last name) would be a great choice...

anyway: they better get kilowag and sinestro right....they did in the Reynolds movie.....also, I hope this leads to superboy prime eventually....I really want to see the fight between him and ion on screen....

Warner Bros Sets David Goyer, Justin Rhodes For ‘Green Lantern Corps’

EXCLUSIVE: Warner Bros and DC are moving aggressively on a new screen version of Green Lantern. They’ve set David Goyer to write the script with Justin Rhodes for Green Lantern Corps, with Goyer producing and with DC heads Geoff Johns and Jon Berg exec producing. The new version is described as Lethal Weapon in space, and it’s based on a comic book origin story. The focus will be on two characters: Hal Jordan and John Stewart. The latter is an African American Marine sniper before he joined the Lantern Corps and the story very much focuses on his relationship with Jordan and the Corps. The story was conceived by Goyer and Johns.

It’s unclear whether the studio would reengage with Ryan Reynolds, who starred in the disappointing first film and is soaring with Deadpool and working on its sequel. They will get a script and move quickly to get a director, so this project now has a beating heart.

Beyond his pedigree as scripter of superhero series that includes the Dark Knight series and most recently Batman V Superman, Goyer recently signed on to script a virtual reality project based on Star Wars. He is repped by WME.

Rhodes, whose script work includes the upcoming Guillermo del Toro-directed Fantastic Voyage remake (on which Goyer is exec producer), is repped by WME and Madhouse.

I'm always iffy on Goyer's writing but this lethal weapon angle has me interested. Kinda wish they would've just gotten Shane black to write it for real. But that's also probably impossible with his schedule

I think he excels when he's a co-writer and has a guiding hand instead of working on the whole thing by himself. Doesn't hurt that he wrote the treatment with Johns who treats GL like his kid.
