Movie aint that deep breh the action and destruction is all we care about. Godzilla prolly wins in the end as usual

Hate this fukking godzilla. I'm looking forward more to Toho's Shin Godzilla shared universe in 2021.

It's funny because Showa era was one big cinematic universe. The same as with the Hesei era.

To be fair, if the human drama in the 2014 movie were more compelling it wouldn’t be such a big problem. But the most interesting character got killed off 30 minutes in and we got stuck with Aaron Taylor-Johnson for the rest of the film.
