I wouldn't be surprised if he caves. Giving people an extra 1400 is a worthy trade-off for him and his donors if Mitch can hold power in the Senate. I guess it just depends on what internal polling is showing. Still haven't heard any politico/nyt scuttlebutt about there being concerns behind the scenes.

Yes this is a fascinating situation. We’ve kind of seen that polls really are not that accurate. Will Mitch say fukk it pass the $2,000 or will he be like fukk the polls they wrong all the time

trump handily winning AZ - biden won

trump easily winning GA - biden won

biden winning minnesota by half a point - he won by seven points

they had a pretty bad year even relative to other pollsters. im not too impressed with them getting NC or FL right either because its obvious they just gave trump enough swing states to barely win the election. when you go into their crosstabs even those states they got right were way off
