IMO Biden's base would more enthusiastically coalesce around a tailor made well liked moderate Dem like Newsom way before DeSantis could invoke the same enthusiasm Trump did to get elected ...as hard as he tried he can never be trump ... imagine DeSantis trying to muster up the wherewithal to create a branding campaign like "MAGA" around his electoral efforts
