Man, low key Sam has come a long way. I was just watching season 1 this week. To see Sam go from when he first showed up to the wall, to rolling into that library hair slicked back was pretty dope.

Word of what happened at Hardhome could've easily spread throughout the North.
Maybe the reason the producers decided to keep it inaudible was to not make it so obvious right THEN....but to confirm it for the viewer when the scene cuts from the baby's face to Jon Snow's face.
