I think it's fair to call season 1 Cersei cunning. She was clever enough to use King Robert's drukeness and love of hunting against him and got him killed without his closest companions, even Ser Barristan from knowing it was a hit. Then she was going to end the war (at least with the Starks) by sending Ned to the Wall, while also getting him to affirm Joffrey's legitimacy and drop his support for Stannis. It was some good maneuvering that was only derailed because she couldn't account for Joffrey growing out of control. Her hubris caught up with her there, and history repeated itself with the High Sparrow, but I still think she made some moves that were cunning.

She made some good moves, she was just too arrogant. Like that smirk she gave Grandma Tyrell. If she just knew how to keep face and not rub in her victories (be more like Margery) maybe everyone wouldn't hate her.

She always felt she had the stronger position. Margery is technically always on the come up so she keeps low and plots. Takes her W's then builds again. Cersei wins and wants to rub it in everyone's face.

It's a shame Ygritte died. The only reason they couldn't be together is because Jon was in the Night's Watch and their groups hated one another. Now those are both non-issues as Jon is done with the Watch and the Free Folk are chillin in the North. They could've been together

Ygritte was kind of abusive though well book ygritte was. She hit him all the time and she was mean with the constant "you know nothing". I think Jon would have realized he could do better eventually, lol.

I think that was more of the "Wildling" way than it was her straight being abusive. If Jon ever wanted to set her straight he could've.

I could not be less interested in his Rube Goldberg-esque "chess moves" at this point in the series, with 15 episodes left. The whole point of securing Winterfell was to ready the North against the White Walkers. If they waste time with LF trying to become Warden Of The North or whatever political bullshyt he's up to, I'm going to put a foot through my TV. shyt was entertaining 2-3 seasons ago, we don't got time for all that now.

I said this in the main thread, but it basically comes down to Sansa scheming vs. bad writing. I don't think they have the balls to make Sansa evil; I know they are capable of bad writing.

They can't fight the White Walkers politically. It has to be some big CG fight. What would LF, Varys or Margaery do at Hardhome?

The writers have beat us over the head with "the real fight is against the dead"....the vast majority of the characters you named have no place in that fight. They don't even know that fight exists. I'm not saying write off half the characters but whatever they're doing needs to start connecting to the real war.
