Some of these idiot writers have no clue what "cunning" means. Cersei wasn't cunning. She was and is an evil broad who had power in the city, nothing more. Once she lost the power, she lost any kind of usefulness. Maybe she comes through in the finale or does something about the Sparrows.

but if you want to look at a female character who is actually cunning. It's Margaery Tyrell. She's been A1 since the very beginning. :obama:

You're making things up, you're imagining what Ramsay planned offscreen. Everything I said was confirmed by the writers.

And you're putting book quotes up about Roose's men firing arrows recklessly, I never argued against Ramsay firing arrows recklessly with no concern for his men. Nothing in that quote even hints at piling up bodies on purpose, where as what I said is confirmed by the writers of the show. Point out where in that quote it gives the slightest hint that Roose had his men fire recklessly to stack bodies up, better yet show me where it even says Roose was the one responsible for those arrows falling on Stark and Lannister men. That's a Tyrion POV chapter.

David Benioff actually said "during the Civil War you read about bodies piling so high they became an obstruction" almost verbatim but nothing about it being a strategy then or in the show, and DB Weiss spoke about the Carthaginians and the pincer movement and said almost exactly what I posted. I'm not making that shyt up.

There's no direct quote stating that, because it's implied as Roose kept his Bolton men behind. Ramsay did the same tactic, but you're actually now arguing that this was just coincidence.

You're the only one in the 7 kingdoms that didn't get that Ramsay did this on purpose. You keep mentioning the stuff on HBO, which doesn't go against the fact he shot his own men and Jon to build a human barrier. That was the entire point!! there was no other reason to do it. Everytime I say this, you keep going back to what you heard about the "civil war" which doesn't explain one thing about why he would shoot arrows into his own men.

can she? or are her abilities limited to normal sized brehs :ohhh:
She doesn't have any power. She can only do what the Lord of Lights commands her to do(if she inteprets it correctly). Lord must've :yeshrug: when Rickon died.

Margery and Olenna are such a stark contrast to the women in Jon's camp
Jon-Tell me what to do
Sansa-Don't do what he wants you to do
Jon-:stopitslime:

Jon- Do you have any advice?
Melisandre-Don't lose

I never thought about this directly but your spot fukking on:ohhh:

Behind every strong man is a strong woman. Jon hasn't a had a TRUE ride or die chick holding him down since Ygritte...

Pair Jon with Margery and he would've taken Winterfell while saving Rickon and putting Ramsay's head on a spike. Dude would've had the entire North conquered by now...

It's a shame Ygritte died. The only reason they couldn't be together is because Jon was in the Night's Watch and their groups hated one another. Now those are both non-issues as Jon is done with the Watch and the Free Folk are chillin in the North. They could've been together :mjcry:

For the breh asking about the snow issues this is from the director.
My understanding is that adding horses makes everything harder. What was the toughest part of that?
The time factor. Everything takes about 50 percent longer. Also they need relatively solid ground to run on, and when it rains the field would turn to into a bog and we’d have to lay down tons of gravel to sure up their footing. Horses also get bored and spooked and some perform better than others. They also need an entire separate field to rest in. Oh, and they sh— and piss all the time.

Like every time we charge the horses it takes 25 minutes to reset all the fake snow on the field and rub out the horseshoe prints. So how many times can we afford to charge the horses each day knowing we need to give time for a reset that’s 10 times longer than the actual shot?

'Game of Thrones': Battle of the b*stards director speaks out

It comes down to being able to film what's practical. If they CGI in a bunch of snow then you have men and horses moving unrealistically.

I don't see how this is such a hard concept to grasp.

did you watch that video? Sansa said "a monster has our home and our brother..we have to go back and save them both"
yep, check ur quote I didn't speak on that (I did in an earlier version of the post but I edited it shortly after). I only spoke on Jon's reaction to the letter. As soon as he read it and Sansa was like "we know he has him" he wanted to know how many fighting men he had even though he had just told Sansa earlier that he was done fighting. Yeah Sansa gave him reassurance with that quote but he would've gone to war regardless.

I think it's fair to call season 1 Cersei cunning. She was clever enough to use King Robert's drukeness and love of hunting against him and got him killed without his closest companions, even Ser Barristan from knowing it was a hit. Then she was going to end the war (at least with the Starks) by sending Ned to the Wall, while also getting him to affirm Joffrey's legitimacy and drop his support for Stannis:leon:. It was some good maneuvering that was only derailed because she couldn't account for Joffrey growing out of control. Her hubris caught up with her there, and history repeated itself with the High Sparrow, but I still think she made some :whew: moves that were cunning.
