LOST'S ADEWALE AKINNUOYE-AGBAJE JOINS GAME OF THRONES
Mr. Eko is Heading to Westeros.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, of Lost and Thor: The Dark World fame, has signed on to a role in the upcoming fifth season of Game of Thrones.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, not much has been revealed about the actor's place on the HBO show, but it is said that the actor's character isn't in the books and goes by the name of Malko.
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje plays Kurse in Thor: The Dark World.
While Akinnuoye-Agbaje will be taking on an unfamiliar character, season five will see the return of our favorite Game of Thrones names--including some surprises--in new exotic Westeros lands, such as Prince Oberyn "The Red Viper" Martell's birthplace of Dorne. GoT showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have said that they "see no reason why the coming season shouldn’t be the strongest yet."
Akinnuoye-Agbaje will also join Bryan Cranston, Helen Mirren, and Diane Lane in Trumbo, and stars in Annie, opposite Jamie Fox and Quvenzhane Wallis, which opens this holiday season.
Season five of Game of Thrones is set to air spring 2015.

86,000 Audition to Be Extras on Game of Thrones
Ten times the Unsullied.
24 OCT 2014 BY JORDAN SIRANI
86,000 people showed up to an open casting call in Spain, with hopes of becoming an extra in the upcoming fifth season of Game of Thrones.
Production company Fresco Film put out the casting call, seeking around 600 extras for a battle scene. TheWrap reports that due to the massive amount of applicants, the company was forced to expand its server space in order to accommodate all 86,000 people.
While the series usually films in locations such as Iceland, Northern Ireland, and Croatia, Season 5 is partially being filmed in Spain -- which will likely represent Dorne, home to Oberyn Martell.
Season 5 is expected to premiere in Spring 2015 and will include flashbacks for the first time in the series.

Game of Thrones Cast Sign On for 7th (and Final?) Season
The main cast of HBO's Game of Thrones have renegotiated their contracts to include the option for a Season 7, which could be the show's last.
30 OCT 2014 BY MATT FOWLER
HBO has now signed all of its principal Game of Thrones stars through a potential seventh season.
The main cast had only been signed through Season 6, but all that's now been renegotiated to include an option for a seventh season, should that renewal occur (which it totally will, of course).
THR reports that "HBO has ponied up huge raises for seasons 5, 6 and the potential season 7 that will make the cast members among the highest paid on cable TV."
According to THR sources, stars are compensated using a tiered system, with the higher-paid "A Tier" including stars Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey,Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
And the "B Tier" supposedly including Natalie Dormer, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williamsand others. With all tiers getting large compensations regardless.
Keep in mind too, that none of this means that these characters are guaranteed to last through Season 7. Staying alive is not part of the contract. But these contracts cover all bases in case HBO does need them (seeing as how Season 5 will actually employ flashbacks).
It's long been rumored too that Season 7 might be the final season for the show, and that this final negotiation with the entire cast for that one extra seventh huge-payday season might foreshadow that fact.

At least it gives me Plenty more time & reasons to read the books. In the past y'all were saying that Season 5 would finish up Books 4 & 5. Now it looks their gonna be plenty of content from Books 4 & 5 not covered or changed in Season 5.It was confirmed a while ago that we wouldn't be seeing any Hodor in Season 5
Entertainment Weekly ran a story saying Gawdbody Bran was cut too
Producer David Benioff confirmed it today....no Bran
#StarkSet loses its leader and the #1 player in the Game of Thrones Power Rankings
Storyline is basically caught up to the books other than some meandering, so rather than jump ahead and fukk up the timelines they have just decided to leave him out until next season when the other characters are caught up
This is after we got no Rickon the young killa in Season 4. Wouldn't be surprised if he was also gone from Season 5 and eventually recast since NONE of the casual viewers will even remember he existed
#Starkset we still out here though :lawdreversed::stark:
