Left such a bad taste in peoples mouth that it probably destroyed the possibility of any of the spinoffs/prequels from happening.

HBO Lost (Millions of $)
GRRM Lost ($, but his fault. Should've hurried up and wrote an ending).
D&D Lost (At the height of this show they probably could've gotten anything they wanted greenlit).

Show should’ve been 10 seasons. Would’ve given the writers time to catch up with GRRM deadline. Flesh out characters and really build up the ending. If they can take a whole year off(2018), than why couldn’t they really flesh out the ending and make it that we’ll get there in time for GRRM to release Winds Of Winter?

In all fairness waiting on George RR Martin to release Winds Of Winter is like waiting for a Nas/AZ album. A Spawn film reboot. RZA’s The Cure album. Elder Scrolls 6. Hunter Vs Hunter climax. Ash to catch em all. Lebron to accept the bald. Kevin Durant to delete his burner accounts. Terry Crews to wear a BLM T-shirt. DMX to act right.


COULD it happen? Sure. WILL it happen? Not likely.



Not giving the Showrunners a pass for an awful final season but George Martin’s books were NOT going to be the guide that steered that ship to shore
