i never liked him as greyworm. i always imagined the leader of the unsullied to be a bit more brolic/imposing...or at least cut. dude had that role for 7 years and looked like he never lifted a weight, looks like your typical skinny fat gamer bro

On one hand, I kinda get it. I mean if he was meant to be elite then he should have looked like the soldier who got his throat slit in season 5 after the prostitute cradled him. On the other, I'm like 'he's got fukk all testosterone ain't he? '

I thought the actor was fine they just gave him shyt to do. On paper there's much more to these two characters than we're shown

That’s kind of how the unsullied are supposed to look. They were castrated as children before they hit puberty. So they aren’t supposed to be brolic or physicslly imposing. A lot of them are just straight up fat in the books.

Their usefulness comes from their skill, obedience, fearlessness, and resistance to pain. Not really their brute strength.

that's fine and all for the books, but the books aint the show. they had other unsullied soldiers in the show who were plenty in shape. like i said, just look fit/like you have muscle, not even brolic. dude looked compared to who he'd be standing in front of and leading on camera, these dudes all look like they at least lift a weight once or twice a week, even though they're slender

something about his "stone face" i never liked either, like he was trying to overcompensate for his otherwise soft look, so he tried too hard to make a "i'm a stone cold fighter" face, never felt natural. as far as how he portrayed the character, like you said, he never had much to work with so his acting skills never hit me one way or another

angela and lynn are 60 and 66, respectively, very much the age of grandmothers. aint no rule saying it needs to be shriveled 80 yr old granny vs a younger 60-something granny. both of them would slay that role
