No one here is talking dirty about the PPV and how much money it will or will not make. We are posting information given out by legitimate sources.

We know you said you had PBC connections and have some knowledge of how it works on the inside.

Share it. That is what "discussions" are for. If you got some knowledge to educate, bring it on. Makes the board a better place. Otherwise all we have to go off is the traditional boxing sources and will have to use them. We aren't cooking in here if the chef isn't sharing the ingredients.

I already said enough about the bs HBO pulling. I'm not gonna sit here and breakdown profits and shyt. You believe what you want. Believe Dan if you want since you know he's unbiased.

Also I never said I knew or had PBC connections. Somebody I know allowed me to invest some loot in there. Needless to say I have to admit I am biased towards PBC but at least we keep it 100 with the public.

What I would like to see would be Santa Cruz Kkk GGG and Superman on the same card but HBO likes to pick and choose who they allow to fight on the other side which is our handicap in boxing today.

Cable N Dish providers take 50% from the PPV...That leaves us with 5milly

So 5 Milly left to pay all the fighters on the card plus all other expenses...doesn't seem to me like a profit is being made at a 200k buy rate

I've seen it with my own eyes fighting bums in inglewood and 12k mexicans came out to see him...NOT ANOTHER MEXICAN FAMOUS FIGHTER BUT HIM... thats on the west coast...

on the east coast he prob just as well known...

i don't know what the big deal is... they had to go to ppv to pay lemeux... they have said it... ggg prob makes the same money if this wasn't on ppv...

again... it sold it practically in 5 days.. and ppl here bytching about ppv sales or what they think it can do... GUESS WHAT.. THIS GUY CAN SELL TICKETS.. NON PAPERED ARENAS IN THIS MANS FUTURE...

also... lets say they take a loss.. (who gives a fukk if the promotional arms involved or if HBO balance sheet but i digress) they got 19k in the garden and LETS SAY 150K PPV are all gonna WATCH THIS GUY DO A SPECTACULAR KO... ppl will get their money worth and come back for more cause they know its knockout city with this guy... fun fun times.. better the opponent.. more hype more future sales...

hbo knows what they doing here... aint no more pac or may .. they gotta invest in killers and guys who can sell tickets ... BUT DONT GET IT TWISTED.. THEY AINT GONNA TAKE A LOSS HERE... 250k minimum...

One of the things I am wondering is if HBO is still funding it a bit, but using the PPV revenue to offset some of the costs.

For true revenue you have to add in their cut of tickets sales, maybe some international PPV revenue.

Now if it does 300k+ theres no denying it was a success seing how those are Canelo N Cotton solo ppv numbers

Im pretty sure the reason they're saying 200k is all that's needed, is because the fight is sold out....so they are counting that in the "bucket" as well brehs.
