guys it's ok. some like smash, some don't. There's IG posts (stories) from the back row that shows EVO was mad hype right up to the very end. every game did well, even SamSho.

it’s too bad Smash is pretty much locked into the last slot cuz of the time management issues. Tekken should 100% be last - that game easily has the hypest top 8s every year.

It's actually a good thing because that way everyone who does not wish to watch Smash can cut out early.

from an Evo perspective thou, you have to be realistic. the game had the most entries, it is a new game so the hype is still very high, and still had close to 220k if not more than that near midnight. And unless you were actually watching the top 8, which it seems some people in here decided not to, it was a hype top 8 as well, with a great grand final... at least up until Tweek lost all will after the bracket reset.
