He missed 2 games last year and still finished in the top 16, would have EASILY been a top 10 QB if he played those 2 games and possibly top 6. It was his first year as a starter and he nearly averaged 20 ppg, in my opnion if anything he has one of the higher ceilings out of all the QBs and has great value in my opnion because you can grab him after round 11:yeshrug:

Dual threat QBs can easily finish top 10 in rankings because of that rushing ability

I just don't think he's got enough of a track record. Defenses could start to figure him out, maybe Watkins gets doubled and he has to lean on Shady. His 2nd option in the passing game is Charles Clay.

That said, for where dude drafted him in a deep league is fine you just gotta hope the rushing can provide enough points to pad his numbers.

McCoy is a weapon in the receiving game though. Taylor will rack up some stats with him (as well as Reggie Bush). There's def. risk involved with TyGAWD, I get that. But those rushing stats should move that floor up.

Preseason week 2 was a good sign. Should have had 2 TDs instead of one.

What kinda strategy should I have in a 14 team league?

Never played in a league that big so the talent is really gonna be thin

Think best player available early. Seems simple but it's sometimes tough to apply when you go in hoping to start RB/RB or something like that.

Focus on skill position players early. Don't reach for a QB, especially if you're in a standard scoring league.

RB depth isn't very high this year and a lot of teams that don't have a standout are going by committee.

RB is also the highest turnover rate of any position so be careful using that first pick on one unless it's worth it.

Yeah I never bought the hype of drafting all rb's high

In today's nfl they'res only a few guys you know are gonna be every down backs and put up huge numbers

Got worked in my 14-team keeper league. :snoop:

Thought I'd get Lamar Miller or Zeke at 6, but both were gone and I didn't feel confident enough in any remaining RBs (Johnson and Gurley were off the board as keepers). Ended up with AJ Green, Allen Robinson and Mark Ingram as my top 3 picks.

Overall, here's the squad:

QB: TyGAWD Taylor
WR: AJ Green
WR: Allen Robinson
RB: Mark Ingram
RB: Frank Gore
TE: Dwayne Allen/Jared Cook
Flex: Marvin Jones
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: ARI
----
BN: Josh Gordon
BN:Bilal Powell
BN: Tim Hightower
BN: Chris Thompson
BN: Rob Kelly

Again, it's a 14-team league with keepers, so resources are more scarce. Hoping for Gore to produce top 10-15 RB numbers, Taylor to average 20 a game and hopefully Jared Cook morphing into JerMichael Finley 2.0 in Green Bay. Also banking on Matt Jones not finishing the season healthy.

Solid squad

This was a great decision breh :banderas: Only thing is who knows how Dak will do in the regular season

im going to eat off of all these fools going WR heavy early in the drafts.

The WR is so deep this year you can pull out solid #2's, and potential #1 WRs after the 4th round.

Man had a $100 keeper auction draft over the weekend, man there were some crazy ass bids threw out there. Each team has a cap of 200 dollars and there's 16 teams, what some players got was :damn:

Julio Jones went for $62 and Keenan Allen went for $59 :dead:

PPR League, here's what the squad ended up being
* = kept from previous season

QBs - Cam Newton*, Jared Goff

RBs - Doug Martin*, Charles Sims, Rashad Jennings

WRs - Mike Evans*, Alson Jeffery, Desean Jackson, Micheal Thomas

TEs - Greg Olsen, Charles Clay

D/ST - Oakland Raiders

K - Stephen Gostkowski

How does the squad look?
U should drop golf ... Unless y'all play two qbs becuase he's a bum rookie. Dak Prescott would be better or pick up a number 2 running back who'll be the starter if the 1 gets hurt. Like James Starks or Deandre Washington

Yea I might be one of those idiots because I don't have a legit #1 RB now...I do have OBJ,Hopkins & Demaryius though

Just finished up my first draft, here is what my squad is looking like

QB: Carson Palmer
RB1: Mark Ingram
RB2: C.J. Anderson
WR1: Julio Jones
WR2: Jeremy Maclin
TE: Jordan Reed
Flex: Duke Johnson
D: Seahawks
K: Mason Crosby

Bench:
Desean Jackson
Tyrod Taylor
Julius Thomas
Justin Forsett
Chiefs D
Markus Wheaton
Tajae Sharpe
Christine Michael

My WR depth might be lacking a little but I'm hoping Maclin puts up some decent numbers, my #1 target was Julio so glad he fell to me at 5
