7th pick ppr league was thinking doug johnson or hopkins but i might reach and draft dez ?

need some advice

I would've gone Hopkins there. Doug Johnson is a big gamble and Dallas looks like they're going to be running a lot this year.

Keeper deadline in 3 hours in my 14 team league. Standard, no ppr. Need to keep 2 out of these 3.
  • Mark Ingram (3rd round)
  • Allen Robinson (2nd round)
  • Jeremy Langford (12th round)
I've got the 6th overall pick. Guys like ODB, Hopkins, David Johnson and Todd Gurley are being kept by other teams already. What would y'all do, brehs?
Full disclose I've never done keeper:manny:

I've washed my league the last couple of years and they wouldn't go for it:francis:

i got the #2 pick in one of my leagues and i think everybody finally caught on to antonio brown:francis: i've been in 3 straight championships in this league and he's been my #1 pick every year. i'm thinking julio this year with the #2 if antonio gets picked first.

I would go Julio right now. New coaching staff in NY could go either way for ODB but Shepherd could perform better than their other receivers did last year.

Keepers are fun. Changes the whole dynamic of the draft. In mine, half of the Yahoo projected first rounders are already being kept.

Last year I had Cam, Antonio Brown, Julio, Devonta Freeman, and Allen Robinson.:lolbron:

I said let's do keeper and they said FOH:mjlol:

Would like to try it for sure tho:manny:

We got a rule that says you can only keep players drafted in the 4th round or later. Keeps people from having AD and the like on their team every year.

Man had a $100 keeper auction draft over the weekend, man there were some crazy ass bids threw out there. Each team has a cap of 200 dollars and there's 16 teams, what some players got was :damn:

Julio Jones went for $62 and Keenan Allen went for $59 :dead:

PPR League, here's what the squad ended up being
* = kept from previous season

QBs - Cam Newton*, Jared Goff

RBs - Doug Martin*, Charles Sims, Rashad Jennings

WRs - Mike Evans*, Alson Jeffery, Desean Jackson, Micheal Thomas

TEs - Greg Olsen, Charles Clay

D/ST - Oakland Raiders

K - Stephen Gostkowski

How does the squad look?

Looks solid other than RB depth. Might want to keep an eye out and shore that up on the waiver wire if possible.

That's just nitpicking tho, it's a pretty solid team for 16 team league

That's what I was thinkin'. RB prices were jumpin' out the gym, Zeke went for like 58 dollars.

Got Beckham as a keeper in a .5 PPR and thinking about taking another elite receiver with the 2nd pick in my draft. Who you guys like between AJ Green, Dez, Hopkins, Gronk? I've got a feeling about Dez this year but Green and Hopkins will likely be targeted more.

Got worked in my 14-team keeper league. :snoop:

Thought I'd get Lamar Miller or Zeke at 6, but both were gone and I didn't feel confident enough in any remaining RBs (Johnson and Gurley were off the board as keepers). Ended up with AJ Green, Allen Robinson and Mark Ingram as my top 3 picks.

Overall, here's the squad:

QB: TyGAWD Taylor
WR: AJ Green
WR: Allen Robinson
RB: Mark Ingram
RB: Frank Gore
TE: Dwayne Allen/Jared Cook
Flex: Marvin Jones
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: ARI
----
BN: Josh Gordon
BN:Bilal Powell
BN: Tim Hightower
BN: Chris Thompson
BN: Rob Kelly

Again, it's a 14-team league with keepers, so resources are more scarce. Hoping for Gore to produce top 10-15 RB numbers, Taylor to average 20 a game and hopefully Jared Cook morphing into JerMichael Finley 2.0 in Green Bay. Also banking on Matt Jones not finishing the season healthy.

I would go Hopkins then Dez. NFC East defenses aren't the greatest so Dez should be able to eat during in division games.

Green has the least favorable strength of schedule of the three, and they like Tyler Boyd there, a lot of mouths to feed.

Would stay away from Gronk that early. His gap between the next tier of tight ends has been slowly falling. Could scoop a Jordan Reed, Olsen, Delanoe Walker and get marginally worse production especially with Brady out 4 games

Thanks. I'll prolly end up going Dez though Hopkins can produce no matter the QB. There's also a chance the Gurley owner keeps Hopkins which might change things a bit.

Squad aint bad for a deep league but I don't think Tyrod is gonna work out for fantasy this year.

If Josh Gordon pans out, could be a really strong squad.

He missed 2 games last year and still finished in the top 16, would have EASILY been a top 10 QB if he played those 2 games and possibly top 6. It was his first year as a starter and he nearly averaged 20 ppg, in my opnion if anything he has one of the higher ceilings out of all the QBs and has great value in my opnion because you can grab him after round 11:yeshrug:

Dual threat QBs can easily finish top 10 in rankings because of that rushing ability
