What’s wild is I don’t remember this shyt AT ALL. And I watched Dexter on the premiere night of the first season, I must’ve really hated those last few seasons.

Looking back on alot of the interviews with the cast and production crew it was pretty clear that they never truly realize how popular a show about a serial killer would be in the public so their best seasons were their earlier seasons. Also probably helped that the early seasons had tons of influence from the Dexter books meanwhile those later seasons they were making up themeselves.

Also shout out to Season 7 villain Isaak Sirko in my opinion one of the most underrated characters of the entire series.

The final season of this airing the same time "Breaking Bad" was on a run like the '90's Bulls did this show zero favors, also.

I remember a pic of the writer's room leaked....it was one man (the show runner) and like 6 women. I remember cats said the only way they'd forgive the writing is if he was having big ass orgies with all of them.

That's who I always bring up whenever anyone says that there's nothing worth watching after season 4.
I think Season 7 > Season 3.

It'll probably be good tbh. Dexter isn't going to have a bunch of bullshyt like Deb and his family weighing him down. It'd basically a final season focusing on dexter and a bit about the people surrounding him and they're all new so it's going to feel fresh.

And they made this knowing they got a good ending where he dies ig. So I'm more confident in this season than I was during the previous 3 seasons of dexter

Really enjoyed the episode where he and Dexter wiped out that boat. Seasons 5-8 weren't as good as the first four but there was plenty of gems. Only thing unforgivable was the ending of the series
