I actually liked the Prado Dexter relationship...season 3 mad underrated

Jimmy Smits was the only good thing about Season 3 Dexter was on cruise control that season.


That being said.... Season 3 >>> Season 5 and 8 if I had to rank the worst seasons


Seasons 1, 2, and 4 >>> Season 6 and 7 if I had to rank the best seadons

All the seasons became a blur after the trinity killer, who was the villain in season 6? Was that the one with Tom hanks kid?

Yep Colin Hanks was the main villain. I liked the Doomsday Killer and his motives, I like Mos Def's character in the season, I like the religious themes that made Dexter question himself and his "dark passenger", I like the cameo of a old previous character, I like how Dexter and Colin Hanks were pretty much the same person except one knew he was crazy but try to do good while the other thought he was normal but doing bad things for the sake of "goodness".

I didn’t like the twist but other than that the season was alright

That season was at least better than Season 5 that Barrell Girls bullshyt and dem weak ass villains were shameful

What’s wild is I don’t remember this shyt AT ALL. And I watched Dexter on the premiere night of the first season, I must’ve really hated those last few seasons.

I actually thought season 6 was worse than 8 .

Season 8 had serious potential: Dexter having an apprentice, Dexter's therapist that was the creator of "Harry's Code", Debra being knowledgeable of Dexter's serial killer ways and joining along, the "Brain Surgeon" being the main villain etc.... but it was all derailed by terrible logic and unnecessary bullshyt throughout the season. Which is further proof why I thought everything in Season 2 should have happened as the final season.... Season 1 and Season 2 should have been the bookends of the series with everything else that happened being in-between those seasons.
