I realize now that I should have bought that Dead Orbit Cloak instead of a Ghost Shell with my Marks for the Dead Orbit Exotic Quest... can't even hit 260 with my old Dead Orbit Cloak on

I haven't done the raid year, but I guess I can fine tune a build through infusions and whatnot in the meantime. The issue with that is that you REALLY have to plan out how to go about it. Marks are on thing, but you gotta get the most out of each piece of gear that goes into infusing - especially if you're trying to walk a piece up more than a dozen levels. Exotics requiring exotic shards to infuse is hefty shyt too. I got the Skyburner helm for my hunter so I want to build around an orb manufacture setup for it. The sword + shadowshot tether/orb perk is money by itself, but with that exotic helm it should be even crazier.
On to PvP though... they REALLY need to kill the damage reduction on the Stormcaller and Sunbreaker. Those supers startup and those guys dont have to fear shyt. Meanwhile, the only other sustained super like it (golden gun) has ZERO damage reduction. They can generally walk around unhindered killing everything in sight without issue. I hope it gets looked at because I shouldn't be forced to stare down the devil and land a sniper headshot to kill a walking tank like that.

It's so easy to hit 280 light on your other accounts. Grab all bounties,do the story mode til you get artifacts.. Save all your engrams for level 40.. Send ghost, weapons, etc to account.. use engrams one at a time and equip it after, rinse, repeat.. I hit like 280 on my warlock in 2 hours from level 34. Probably faster ways but this worked for me

Yea, I haven't started my other characters yet at all. I noticed that the higher light you are impacts the RNG for the Engram's that you turn in. I'm kicking myself because last night, I had a Legendary Engram and I forgot to equip my highest light gear build on and got a low defense stat on these gauntlets. I was playing Crucible and had on old shyt instead of my other stuff
It took me some time but I get it now.

They need to nerf that raid and make it two bosses like the rest. Don't give me that it's fun shyt ain't nothing fun about it nor was VoG fun everything in PvE is tedious to me I only enjoy the crucible really.

That scout rifle is the dopest looking gun I've swen in this game, the group that's been designing these exotics deserve pay raises
Just now getting back into the game. Its as fun as I remember..but the weapon selection is boring. Even though they all have different names, each weapon type shoots pretty much the same way the next one does.
