Finally got some decent weaponry to run with... swear it seems much harder to level up Factions now since all the Bounties are basically Easy Mode now.
Got this exotic scout and the Feud Unfading shader from a Reef quest yesterday.
Doing the Quest that makes you hunt down the VIPs on Patrol. I've literally went around the map looking for this patrol mission on Venus and it rarely shows up. I have to go back to orbit and respawn in hoping the shyt shows up.
Makes no sense man, Patrol is the easiest way to make me fall a sleep while playing this shyt.

The citadel and I think the walking ruins are the only place where VIPs show with any sort of consistency for me. got a pretty good Omolon sniper, Eirene RR4 with Outlaw/Snapshot/Unflinching or Exhumed and I can't even mess with it. Instead I'm running around Venus same as you tryna complete these quests and shyt. I even start and cancel the patrol missions hoping when I come back around a new one will have replaced it, but nope. And when the Taken appear they dip before the boss shows up cuz no one else is around to help a breh, so they get bored and leave me sittin there lookin foolish
I said before that they made it into a 1 character game now but its also extra hard tryna to get thru a lot of the new shyt solo.

Same here. Last one I need and noone is ever around to help a guardian out. Soloing this is definitely impossible. If the taken don't kill you the hive usually finish you off.
So apparently.... Once you hit 300, all the exotics you 'open' have a chance to be 310
