yea, you dont know what you talking about...you talking about perks, while i'm talking about getting the job done....the 2 hand cannons i listed have similar or better: firing rate, range, impact, reload, and clip size compared to the thorn...on top of that, the last word has a faster time to kill (highest in the game); and the hawkmoon can do more damage in less shots cause of the bonus rounds, so how are they not better?...the only thing the thorn got on them is the poison effect, that's it....and the fact i can kneel to counter that(which you dont seem to know about), means in most cases you a dead muthafukka if i got one of those 2 guns and you using the thorn....

every gun in the game can be outgunned cause they all have pros/cons, and you then have to factor in the skill of the person using it....

red death is better...only thing the thorn has on it is the poison effect (which is the advantage it has on every gun cause that's the unique perk for it)......other than that, red death fires faster, has more stability, more in the clip, faster reload, and the perk of getting healed with every kill....also, it got the buff cause they buffed all pulse rifles...like i said before: if i got the red death and you got the thorn, in most cases you a dead muthafukka....and again: you can counter the poison by just crouching...that's all you have to do....

now that i think, better is the wrong word to use...i say that cause all the guns have pros/cons, there is no 'best' gun...which is 'better' comes down to what you like to use, how you use it, etc...

anyway, as for people running around in pvp using 3-4 weapons doesnt reflect on the pvp being broken, cause that's how all pvps are...people tend to use what is considered the 'best'/easiest i win gun when it comes to mp....the thorn just happens to be that gun of the moment....just like it was fusions 1st, then autos....no one was crying about the thorn then even though it was just as good...now that the majority running around with it, it's op....lol get the fukk outta here.....only problem i have with it is that everyone is running around with it....that makes pvp boring to me....

Holy shyt you making my points for me. There is a reason why every one is running around with Thorn, cuz it's easy mode. You sitting here defending it isn't going to change the fact that it is completely dominating IB/ToO and Crucible.

You keep saying that the only thing Thorn has over those other weapons is the poison effect. Well no shyt!. That's what get the kills the majority of the time. That makes it a one hit kill sniping hand cannon most of the time. People don't complain about Vex cuz most times it takes numerous shots to get killed by Vex.

Crouching don't mean shyt in a gunfight. Standing or crouching I'm still gonna shoot you. Lol at crouching when 95% of your health and shield are already gone from one shot. Like I said, you naming one or two guns that can counter Thorn is a huge problem.

why did they take out treasure key farming from the game and made it even harder to get em from ether chests?

Dudes thought I was tripping when I complained about that patch. Before the patch I got 6 keys in one week. Since the patch I've gotten one key.

can't believe y'all out here arguing about the Thorn. the fact that arguments on the subject are constantly going on here/there/everywhere should tell you if its op or not.

my two cents:
compared to 97% of the guns in the game currently, yes its op. the damage, range, burn amount, I'm actually all fine with - the solution to me is return autos and fusion rifles (including the Vex) to what they were cuz they clearly go overboard with the nerfs. the way they nerf things is by making them useless so just make every weapon usable again so cats can play how they want without having to be sheep

It's like Suros in Iron Banner. Don't think people complained about Suros like this though. Bungie just looked at IB stats and nerfed it not taking into the account that the only reason everybody that had it was using it was cuz of the auto rifle headshot bounty. It was the strongest and most accurate auto in the game and made that bounty light work compared to some of the others.

So instead of leaving the bounty and nerfing autos or the doing the opposite to see what would happen, they changed the bounty and nerfed autos at the same damn time shyt was pointless

Yeah, that's the only reason I used the Suros... in IB when you had to get the headshot bounty for ARs. Glad they changed that, I dismantled my Suros the other day too. shyt's dead.

never was a fan of suros, but i was a fan of the time when u could use a legendary primary and still compete...

thorn is the strongest pvp weapon in the game, i dont know if it that makes it OP... because other weapons can compete... but all things equal.. the player using thorn will win.
