Just got back on Destiny for the first time since before the loot cave patch and TDB dropped.

Tell me why I'm level 10 and hop on Crucible getting 16 kills wit my crappy hand cannon :mjlol:

I'm out here naked against level 31 cats wit one shot kill exotic/legendary weapons and shyt.

Questions for the regulars:

Do I have to finish story mode to get stuff? I'm only level 10 but will I need to do VoG and TDB in the near future to level up more? Is TDB worth it or should I wait for HoW?

i think you pretty much need TDB and HoW... if your trying to get all the A-level weapons and to get most out of the game... each expansion progresses the game...

Doing story mode is the fastest way to get to level 20... but really it should only take you about 10 hours to get to level 20 if you do all story missions and bounties... if you dont want to do story missions u can just play crucible and you will get there... might take a little longer but make sure u pick up bounties...

also in crucible all damage/armor is evened out.... so your on more of an even playing field than you think with trash armor... even still the people with exotic weapons do have an advantage...

basically get to level 20... thats when the game begins...

man, last night was a good come up for me....finally got the thunderlord, got it from a nightfall drop....other nightfall drops included an exotic titan helm that i already got, so that's 1 less shard i gotta buy; and i got a plug 1 void fusion rifle....

also, the cat i ran a couple nightfalls with, we decided to do vog and we ended up assembling a great team....we beat vog and crota in about an hour....

we in the home stretch, so for the next couple weeks, it's all about prepping for HoW.....i'm get max marks, and try to set up all my faction shyt so that i'll be able to level up as soon as the HoW drops, so i can get a package from them....

...cant wait to hear about PoE...it's almost time for the hunt fellow guardians.....

I think they're purposely playing like hot garbage to make this seem longer than it is. A team said they beat it in 45 minutes A few weeks ago

this shyt looks fun as hell...it's gonna be so hectic...

that special weapon pistol is nice....cant wait to try out a 2 pistol build...
