at dude saying the new game mode does not make up for the fact that there isn't a new raid in the expansion.

nothing really can make up for a raid... its the best part of the game.... but ill take poe + trials of osiris + all the additions like reforging/crucible changes... over a raid....

from their perspective i bet they are going to package 2 raids in the comet expansion later this year, to justify its price tag which will probably be 30-40$

I'll take all the new stuff over a rushed raId. I don't even count Crota's End as a raid note of semi long strike. My team regularly does the entire thing in 20 minutes.

But still, I would've liked to have gotten the Cabal raid in order to get anti Cabal weapons for the prison of elders. Still, like the direction Bungie is going with the game and I ain't gonna act like it hasn't been pretty much the only game getting burn on my Xbox.

Brehs...I'm thinking about getting back into this game... Havent bought the first expansion.. Level 28 is it worth it? Have they implemented match making for raids yet? None of my friends still playing it

honestly, raiding can be extremely annoying sometimes (maybe I'm just easily annoyed) from either glitches or people not holding their own. not having one is not a big deal, ain't tryna spend hours up all night failing thru a new one anytime soon tbh. its almost summertime, so I'm good

Trials - if the other team is better, so be it
Prison of Elders - pretty sure it won't be all that difficult to have us struggling til 3 am

Just got a Red Hand IX from a Legendary Engram

First unlock is Clown Cartridge, in the unlock tree it has Field Scout and Perfect Balance, then the last unlock is Mulligan


I'd trade Mulligan for Outlaw or Firefly/Explosive Rounds, but shiiiiiiit this hand cannon going to put in work for me as it is. Base ammo count starts at 10 too

i hear you, but nothing is as rewarding as beating a raid for the first time... i have a good group who i run with tho and who i actually like as people so that makes it better...

id be willing to guess that the first few weeks of lvl 35 prison of elders will have people struggling til 3am... since there are no check points.. so u cant save ur progress and come back... and its a level 35 raid.. the boss is always one level higher... so Skolas will be level 36 to our 34..... thats like doing hard mode CM back when we were all lvl 31

VoG for sure, but Crota's End is so easy, I don't have to worry about other players cause I can get up to Crota by myself pretty easily. Hard Mode is a different story tho, but once we start getting up to 34 and shyt, that should be a breeze too

VoG for sure, but Crota's End is so easy, I don't have to worry about other players cause I can get up to Crota by myself pretty easily. Hard Mode is a different story tho, but once we start getting up to 34 and shyt, that should be a breeze too

Initially they were both hard. I'm more talking about when shyt is fresh and we are all underpowered and got little clue what to do.

@Costanza I'm not gonna waste time on the hardest difficulty til I'm at 34. Tbh, it can't be all that harder than a raid so I doubt I'll struggle on any difficulty

This attitude here is why developers feel they can release the bare minimum of content because complacent gamers

The majority of the time the average person spends playing Destiny is running raids. The reforging/crucible changes would have to have been made anyway, so let's removing them from the discussion right off the bat. I bet that POE will not take much over a month to complete and the vast majority of Destiny players don't even play PVP so Trials of Osirus is a non-factor. Sell a game where the major activity is playing raids then make an expansion without a raid brehs....
