The comedy shows I went to you put your phone in a pouch and then they put them in lockers. I've never been to one where they put it in a pouch but let you carry the pouch around. That's a recipe for people forgetting to turn they shyt on silent or vibrate and phones going off. If that's the case, I'm surprised only one phone went off during his set.

Also, I know I can't be the only one who thought the phone call was planted and thought he was going to pull out his cell phone and pretend it was someone on the other line telling him he was "cancelled".

When I saw him last year, they made us lock our phones up in the Yondr pouches but let us keep them. I’m not sure if they made us shut em off first or not. But I know for a fact they let us keep them because I dropped mine during Jon Stewart’s set (it was a joint tour between them both) under the seat next to me and had to wait till his set was up before I could pick it up

I just saw this special for the second time, I’m gonna post in here later about it more once it marinates but just off content alone, this might just be his best Netflix special alone, and maybe one of his best ever.

It wasn't the best stand up ever. But it displays Dave's mastery of the stage. No comdedian has the cadance he has. He used some of his patented routines but that's what you came to see.

More importantly he made some damn funny jokes and spoke on some real shyt.

But he also made me fukking laugh hard when his wife woke him up and his said "aww this bytch"

It's a great stand up don't expect Jesus coming back.

IIRC, the shyt started in the afternoon, I think they shut my office down early and sent us home. I stopped at Jewel to pick up some stuff and had a bunch of food delivered.

The news was telling us not to go outside for the next couple of days unless you needed to, frostbite would occur in two minutes, wind chill in excess of -50.

My office was closed for two days.

So the idea that dude was just strolling to Subway at 2 in the morning, with nothing covering his face and two white guys with MAGA hats, rope, and bleach had been waiting on him wasimmediately

Not to mention, where in the world is subway open at 2 am? I’ve never seen a subway open that late

Anyway, it was a great standup, dude said everything I been saying about all of these topics. We have to stop letting the vocal minority dictate what’s acceptable. I hope they were all offended and I hope he doesn’t give a shyt. He spoke the real, sorry if everyone isn’t all fake understanding of all the crazy shyt going on nowadays
