I'm out here in the area. We got hit with a damn Polar Vortex like the day before this allegedly happened.
It was literally freezing cold outside. Nobody was just willingly outside walking around, so the story was so crazy to folks who stay out here because we know how cold it was.
I remember sitting back watching people getting all up and arms about black men not defending dude too. I knew he was going to get exposed because his dumbass kept lying and the shyt was getting national attention.

That's how I felt. There were parts that were legit funny (Juicy Smollett) and parts that were more thought provoking (LGBT car ride). It's not his best but a less than stellar Dave is still better than most.
I understand the criticism, but I think those people didn't see Daphne story in epilogue. If you can normalize R Kelly pissing on women, why can't he normalize trans people? Equal opportunity no? Not equal enough to catch jokes though
And all these media publications who want people to skip the special just show you that they're not as progressive in the media as they want us to. If everyone agrees with something he said, then he didn't do a good job. Not just for Dave but all comedians.
