For those of you saying this is Chappelle’s best special.. y’all need to slow your role and check his old material. Chappelle has some classic jokes man.

I can go back and watch killing them softly and for what it’s worth and laugh like I never seen any of that material before. Plus he has classic def comedy jam shyt like this.

Yea Dave is nowhere near his old self. It was a very good special but it's not as risky as I was expecting it to be. Dave's energy and delivery ain't the same. And I feel like he laughs at his own jokes too much. He always did it, but now he does it damn near every joke. I Feel like the jokes would hit much harder if he kept a straight face. This was more thought provoking than it was hilarious. I'd give it a solid 8. Prolly rank it 3rd out of his netflix specials. But I'm gonna watch again to see if it grows on me.

But this comedy resurgence just makes me wish Patrice was still alive. He would make the rest of these dudes look tame in comparison.
